Drama

Over the next two weeks, we will continue to rehearse and record our progress on our Component Two play “The Terrible Fate of Humpty Dumpty.” We will carry on meeting regularly to rehearse scenes from the play and writing up our rehearsals and learning our lines from the play as part of our working from home.

July 6th- Have slides 2-12 completed in your Drama logbook. This should include at least three Rehearsal Diary entries and three Milestone Reports- (remember, you will need to complete four Diary entries and four Milestone reports in total for Component Two) July 13th- Learn your character’s lines in your next scene in the script. You can record yourself doing this for House Points if you upload this into the Video sharing file on SharePoint.

History

Lesson 1 kicks off the last section of Elizabeth where we look at

Elizabethan society. In this lesson we learn about education and

differences between rich and poor, boys and girls.

Lesson 2 investigates leisure time and what Elizabethan people did

in their spare time. Again, identifying differences between rich and

poor, men and women.

Lesson 3 looks at how poor people were considered, why they might

be unemployed, and what was done to try and help them

Lessons 4 and 5 consider the importance of exploration of the globe

and the importance of Francis Drake and Walter Raleigh

Lesson 6 finishes the topic by analysing the colony of Virginia- its

creation and its strange disappearance
