Department of Information Science and Technology (DIST) and Department of Computer Science and Engineering (DCSE) functions as the University Departments having academic autonomy of having its own syllabus and curriculum. Both o�ers undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes in various disciplines of Information Technology and Computer Science & Engineering.

The DIST and DCSE departments impart world class training and research. The departments provide state-of-the-art computing facilities to the students. They also promote active industry-institute collaboration by identifying areas of interest and taking part in sponsored research projects and consultancy services.

ABOUT ISEA

• Information Security Education and Awareness (ISEA) Project Phase II funded by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology ( MeitY),Govt of India.

• Capacity building in the area of Information Security to address the human resource requirement of the country.

• Generation of core research manpower to undertake basic/fundamental research, applied research in the areas of Product/Solution design and Development and in selected thematic to build indigenous capability.

• Introduction of Information Security curriculum in formal courses like M.Tech./M.E./ M.S., B.Tech./B.E., Post Graduate Diploma courses etc., faculty training, Modu-lar/short term Knowledge oriented courses etc. through academic institutions.
