Partisans were organised into groups of 30 to 50 men.
These small Partisan units would carry out harassingsabotage such as the cutting of telephone lines, destroying ammunitions and fuel dumps, destroyingrail lines, and minor ambushes on isolated enemygroups.
Each Partisan Platoon would have a particular job todo to get the mission completed.
The Red Army supplies heavy weapons for thePartisans to use in their struggle against the fascists.Among the weapons air dropped in is the Maksimheavy machine-gun.
Sometimes partisans require heavy support to keepthe enemy pinned down while they carry out theirmission.
The Red Army were also able to supply 82-BM-41mortars to the Partisan forces to aid them during theirraids.

Scout Platoons are very tough and can launch an attack against the enemy from almost any-where. To represent this,
Soviet scout platoons follow the Scouts—Infiltrators rule.
A Scout Platoon is rated as Fearless Veteran.
Scout Platoons are reconnaissance platoons and may use the Reconnaissance rules.

The heaviest support weapons available to thePartisans was the 76mm obr 1927 infantry gun. Thisgun was light enough to be kept up with small andmobile partisan forces when they really needed somehigh explosive hitting power.
Sometimes anti-partisan forces deploy tanks andarmoured cars against the defenders of mother Russia. These obsolete vehicles are often slow and easilydefeated with the light and mobile 45mm obr 1937anti-tank gun.
Scouts and Paratroopers were often dropped orinfilrated behind enemy lines to aid the Partisanswith extra training and specialist skills. These elitefighters gave the Partisans just the edge they neededto complete their missions.
