A plan to put music within rench of every student hns been formulat- ed by Professor Taylor, of the music department This plan, if approved by the state board of agriculture, will do much to renew the Interest of stu­dents In music.

The new* plan will put the music of State college on a sound basis in the college curriculum. The music will he on the same basis ns agricul­ture. liberal arts, or engineering. A student in order to enter will he re­quired to take an examination and in order to pass must have hud pre­vious preparation. Prof. Taylor will now have his department well organ­ized and a student must do college work to get a credit.
