Work in rounds continuously with MC, do not join. Use stitch marker or contrast yarnto mark beginning of each round.

To begin: ch 2; 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, place marker = 6 sc sts

Rnd 1: 1 sc in first sc of beginning row; work 2 sc in each st around = 11 sc sts

Rnd 2: 2 sc in ea sc around = 22 sc stsRnd 3-5: work sc in each st around = 22 sc stsRnd 6: work 21 sc around; sl st in next st

= 22 sts

Join CC, do not break MC. Work next rnd with CC

Rnd 7: ch1 to beg.; work sc in each st around; sl st in beg. ch. = 22 sc sts

Change to MC, brake CC

Rnd 3: ch1; [ 6 dc in ch5 sp; sc in next sl sts] 5 times; 6 dc in next ch5 sp; join with sl st to beg ch. = 6 petals

Break yarn leaving a tail for sewing. Sew Flower to the hat.

How to work Sl St in back st:• Back side facing, Insert hook between front loop and 2 back loops of sc st row below• yarn over hook and pull yarn through allloops on the hook
