Mrs. Carrie'Palmer Dies ' Grand Gorge.—Mrs, Carrie Lois Pahner died Tuesday at Delhi sanatorium where she had been a patient for nine years. Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Thursday in the Ouderkirk funeral home. The ReV. H. Frank Chunn, Methodist' pastor here, officiated. Burial was in Stamford pemetery
Mrs. Palmer was bom Feb. 3, 1868, in South Gilboa, daughter of Stephen and Elizabeth Conrow, She was married Jan. 1, 1906, to James Ogden Palmer in New York city, where they lived until 1932. He died 14 years ago.
She was a member of the Delhi Methodist church.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mrs. John Conrow, Grand Gorge.
William W. Thomson Buried at BOvina Center
Bovina Center, June 27.—Wil-liam W . Thomson, 63, a former resident, died last week at the home of his sister, Mrs. Harry Robinson Of Mexico. - ,
Funeral services were held Sat-urday at the United Presbyterian church, ' Bovina Center. Burial was made in the cemetery there.
Mr. Thomson was born in Bo-vina Center Aug. 12, 1885; For the past few years, he had made his home with his sister.
In addition .to his sister, he is survived by a brother, Robert G. Thomson of Delhi, and a niece, Jeanette Robinson of Mexico.

SCHOOL MKKTINCl Notice is hereby given that the
ANNUAL SCHOOL MEETING for Central School District No. 2 of the Towns of Andes, Delhi, and Bovina in Delaware County, New York, will be held at the school house in said District on Tuesday evening, July 12, 1949, at 8 o'clock P. M., D. S. T.
That the purpose of such meet-ing is to hear the report of the Treasurer and other officers, elect a member of the Board of Educa-tion" in place of Claude Oliver, whose term expires.
ALSO, at this meeting the fol-lowing resolutionlwiU be presented for the approval or disapproval of the members present, TO-WlT:
RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of Central School Dis-trict No. 2 of the Towns of Andes, Delhi, and Bovina in Delaware County, New York, be and said Board of Education ,is hereby authorized to purchase for the use of the District a 43-passenger GJM.G. school bus for a purchase price of $5,327 over and above a trade in allowance of $1,200 for a G.M.C. 25-passenger bus owned by the District.
Said sum of $5,327 to be financed by the issuance of Bonds by the Board of Education in the name of the District, aU payable in 5 years. The Bonds to be numbered from 1 to 5 inclusive to be of like tenor,except date of maturity and to mature in each of the years 1949, 1950, 1951, 1952, and 1953, and may be sold at private sale at not less than par with interest at the rate of not to exceed per centum per anmun.
Said obligations to be paid for out of monies' received from the levy andtcoUection of taxes there * for on the tajflable property of the District, as said bonds mature.
After the above resolution has been considered the Budget of the District for the school year 1949^ 1950 WiU be presented and j^ch other matters taken up as may properly come before such meeting; ' Dated at Andes. N. Y., June^&
