Songify is a FREE app available on iTunes.

Your students will feel like stars!

Its uses are endless in language classes.

Record each student speaking target vocabulary in a group setting (i.e., around a circle).

Record individual students reciting poems, lines from books, target dialogue.

Highly motivating for elementary level. Use as culminating "reward" for mastering vocabulary.

Google Voice gives you one phone number that is tied to

you. You can choose to have that phone number ring any

phone you’d like. Students will hear your voice when they

call an assigned number.

When it comes to students who are shy or very nervous

about talking in front of the whole class, it helps them

develop appropriate oral communicative skills. Most

students have an easier time recording a quick message

than trying to produce language in the classroom setting. All

students (at least in the US) have access to phones.

A tool used to collaborate with people from different countries or schools to assess reading, speaking, writing and listening skills.

Language students can practice their computer skills and their language skills to talk about everyday activities.

Students can practice speaking as many times as they like before sharing with teachers and classmates. For my students, the ability to do something over and over again and the ability to listen as many times as one wishes is priceless.
