Minimum Usage Charges for FY 2015-16

The minimum usage charges (MUC) for FY 2015-16 is Rs

400/- per month. Please note that the Service tax, as

applicable, will be extra.

For any member who has MUC arrears –

(i)Defaulters date: Member is requested to make the payment thon or before 15 of the following month, in order to avoid

his/her name not to be part of defaulters list on the notice board.

(ii)Struck-off date: The Member's name will be removed from the list of members, in case the above payment is not made

thon or before the 30 of the following month.

th thNote: In the above scenario, if the 15 and 30 of the following months are holidays or Sundays, then the previous working day will be used for the defaulters & struck-off dates.

(iii)Re-admission fee: An amount of Rs 1000/- plus service tax will be charged after the managing committee approves to readmit the member.

(iv)MUC will be run for subsequent months for any member who is removed. The readmission fee would be collected along with all the MUC arrears.

Swimming Pool Closed for weekly maintenance on all the Mondays (7th,

14th, 21st and 28th) of this month.

Kitchen Closed for fortnightly maintenance on 7th and 21st

of this month. Food/snacks will not be served till 6 pm.

As requested by many members, the optional advance

payment is open where members can pay an advance

amount. The advance payment can be adjusted against

any future usage at any facility of our club. Also, members

need not wait for the payment of bills as they can sign and

leave.

achievements for us to publish in the bouquets section. You

Please note that the contents might be edited to suit our

needs.

Update

It has been decided that the collection of MUC for the

month of Mar 2015 will be collected separately. Regular

MUC process will be followed similar to the other

months.

The Management is glad to announce that Corkage will

be allowed. Regular rules with respect to corkage will

apply.

Mr. Chidambaresh. P.N. (CNMC015) and Mr. Jacob Rajkumar (CNMJ004) for representing our club in the Andhra Social & Cultural Association's first edition of the Interclub Table Tennis tournament and finishing as Men's Champion (Gold) and Veterans' Bronze winner. The Team A of the TNCA Club represented by the above along Mr. Dwaram Srinivasa Rao (CNMD010), Mr. Devendra Baid Mehta (OMD002), Mr. Jayaraman R (CNMJ016) finished the tournament with the silver cup.

The TNCA Club intra club doubles shuttle badminton tournament for 2014-15 commenced on 25th Jul 2015 and the finals was played on 08th Aug 2015. The tournament was played on a round robin format with a best of 3 games and 12 teams participated.

The �nal was played between Sudarsan . A (CNMS035)/Attavar Badri (CNMA055) and Bhavin Doshi (CNMB011)/Bimal Doshi (OMB021). The former won 21-13 and 21-17. Mr. T.N. Kannan, Vice President was the Chief Guest and distributed the prizes to the winners.

The tournament was played on a very competitive basis. All the participants were presented with T shirts. The winners and runners were presented with Gift Vouchers from Reebok.

The Management would like to place on record in expressing their sincere appreciation to all the participants for their excellent co-operation. Thanks also go to Mr. Ratan Biswas and his team Mr. Saravanan and Mr. Hari and the Staff Mr. George and Mr. Stephen for all their help and support.

We are glad to come out with the Sep tembe r ed i t i on o f ou r “Flipper”.

As a lways , the f i r s t t h ree Saturdays of this month will witness our regular events – two movies and one musical evening. The Hindi musical evening would have Team Anantara's Shekar & Usha Raj.

For the sport loving enthusiasts, we are happy to inform that our Club team is leading the points table (at the time of going to print) in the Gandhi Nagar Club Billiards Tournament. In addition, you will also find updates about our recently concluded Intra club badminton tournament which saw Doshi brothers playing the final for the 3rd year in succession but lost to the pair of Sudarsan & Badri. Watch out the adjoining pages for more updates on these.

Our TNCA Club Billiards & Snooker team, lead by Mr. A. Nirmalvel (CNMN007) is presently leading the points table in the ongoing inter-club tournament being conducted by Gandhi Nagar Club, Adyar at their club premises.

The other team members are Mr. S. Sivakumar (CNMS070) MIC-Bil l iards, Mr. R. Ramamurthy (CNMR048), Mr. K.Purushothaman (CNMP006), Mr. Chidambaresh P.N (CNMC015), Mr. Saravanan .V (CNMS221) and Mr. Satish Kumar V.R. (OMS094).

This six club tournament, considered a prestigious and highly competitive one by most of the Clubs in the City is being played among the top class players of Mylapore Club, Presidency Club, Cosmopolitan Club, Indira Nagar Club, TNCA Club besides the host Gandhi Nagar Club.
