Wooly Words --Thoughtful Sharing

INTEGRITY. We can Honor GOD by being Christians with integrity. Wait… integrity

isn't listed as one of the Fruits of the Spirit! Yes, that’s true, but Faithfulness requires

integrity. What is it? Integrity is “doing the right thing even if no one is looking”. It is making Godly choices in often small, unspectacular ways.

Do you not tell the cashier at the grocery store if something rings up incorrectly? When you sign up for a Wednesday meal, do you not show

up? Do you “borrow” stuff from your workplace? Do you fudge a little on your timesheet? These are examples of where God might be testing

us in little ways. Checking out our character… our INTEGRITY. 1 Chronicles 29:17 says: “I know also, my God, that you test the heart and take

pleasure in integrity.” We honor God and SHOW His Love by being people of integrity. Just imagine your witness to others in line behind you at

the grocery, to those at work, to the cooks on Wednesday evenings when you act with Godly Integrity! - M. :)

Youth Bowling Tournament Do you like to bowl? Are you a little, tiny bit competitive? Sign up for the

Youth Bowling Tournament! All ages, all skill levels. Playing on Friday-

March 24th , 7-9 p.m., at Royal Crown Lanes in Lawrence. Watch for some

good-natured fun! There is a table for sign up in the foyer on Sundays!

Community Gospel Sing

Don’t you love our Wednesday Night Gospel Sings? They are SO GOOD! We

are going to do the same thing on Saturday, March 18th at 6:00 p.m. at the

Gem. This time, it is open to the community. Invite your friends and

neighbors! Those old time gospel songs have such a great message!

Colossians 2: 2-3 (NIV) “My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart

and united in love, so that they may have the full

riches of complete understanding, in order that

they may know the mystery of God, namely,

Christ, 3 in whom are the hidden treasures of

wisdom and knowledge.”

Ladies, our next Live Fully Night will be on Tuesday, March 14th at 6:30 p.m. at the Gem. We will be continuing our series on “Becoming our Best Yes: Establishing a Pattern of Wisdom”. Bring a friend and join us! We will have a great time of fellowship and light snacks. Women ages 17+ welcome!
