Meet our staff in Siena and on a minivan you’ll reach Florence where you’ll join your group to Cinque Terre. You will spend an unforgettable day discovering the most impressive Ligu-rian landscapes. In this area, which has been declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO, earth and sea blend and create a unique landscape. The area consists of kilometres of rocky coasts with caves, beaches, hiking paths and breathtaking views. First you will reach Manarola, a tiny urban jewel cha-racterized by Genoese style ‘case-torri’. Then you will move to Vernazza, overlooked by the remains of a Medieval castle with a cylindrical tower and after you will reach Monteros-so, known as the ‘pearl of Cinque Terre’. This ancient fishing village with lovely beaches and lush vegetation covering the rocks will certainly enchant you. After lunch you will have the chance to taste the local ‘Limoncino ligure’ in a quaint wine shop. In the afternoon you will have free time for a swim or a walk around the village. From Monterosso to Por-tovenere you will enjoy a stunning 1 hour boat crossing with incredible views of the villages. Once you are in Portovenere enjoy some free time in this elegant and popular touristic de-stination where nature and human architecture are perfectly balanced. After you’ll take the bus and start to go back to Flo-rence and upon arrival a minivan will take you back to Siena

Dinner in the Chianti Vineyards Experience the ancient farmer’s tradition with a dinner in the vineyards

A unique experience designed to give you only the best of what the Chi-anti region has to offer in its various declinations: the history, the land-scapes, the wine and culinary traditions and the incomparable atmos-pheres. A starlit dinner right inside the vineyards will give you the chance to immerse yourself in the ancient farmers’ tradition and live an experi-ence of the senses, soaking up the air, the colours, the flavours and the smells of the countryside. Other than enjoying a delicious typical dinner of local products and dishes, you will be surrounded by the splendid and charming landscape made of vineyard rows, which so quaintly charac-terize the Chianti region. The dishes that you will taste, all made of fresh local products, are the fruit of the hard work and care for the land that local producers have been exercising for centuries. Upon your arrival you will be given a glass for you to carry along the visit of the farm’s winer-ies and thus enjoy a number of wine tastings on this small-scaled wine route. You will then visit the estate’s historic chapel and finally head for dinner, the evening’s main event. San Gimignano, Chianti & Montalcino Enjoy a wine tasting and light lunch in a winery

The first part of our day will be dedicated to the territory of Siena and starts with a visit of San Gimignano, the city of a hundred towers and also a UNESCO World Natural and Cul-tural Heritage site. Our tour escort will give you all of the nec-essary information for enjoying your free time in the town’s historical centre, where you will find local artisan shops and millenarian palazzos. San Gimignano is also the birthplace of Vernaccia, a white wine produced exclusively here, famous for its high quality and also for being the first Italian DOCG wine. From here we will go to Monteriggioni, the ancient crown-shaped fortress that adorned the head of Italy on the hold 100 lire currency. The same walls, which date back to the 12th Century, are endowed with 14 tours that Dante lik-ened to the Giants of Inferno on his Divine Comedy. After a brief visit we will relax at a Chianti winery for a lunch of salami, cheeses and other local products, accompanied by a tasting of Chianti wines. Our day continues with a trip to Val d’Orcia, another jewel in the Tuscan territory and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2004. We will travel to Montalcino, which from its hill dominates the 1500 hectares of Brunello vineyards that have contributed making the area world-fa-mous. Our last stop will be in a local wine cellar where we will taste the renowned Brunello of Montalcino, which finds its place among the first Italian DOCG wines. We will visit the wine cellar and also taste typical local products.
