作品名稱：鏡中花園 Flower garden in the mirror

沙雕師：保坂俊彥 Toshihiko Hosaka（日本 Japan）作品說明：自遠古以來，日本人相信鏡子具有神奇的魔力。這樣的意像激發了我的靈

感，以鏡子將人類世界以及有著精靈居住的花園做連結。

In Japan it has been believed that mirrors have magical powers since ancient times. I got a hint from

that and imagined this work "I think the real world where we live and the flower garden where fairies

live may be connected by a mirror."




作品名稱：賞櫻 HANAMI_under cherry blossoms

沙雕師：松木由子 Yoshiko Matsugi（日本 Japan）作品說明：「櫻花」在日本文化中有著極重要的地位。

「櫻花」代表著冬日將盡，春天到來的象徵。在每年的這個時候，許多摯友與家人會聚集在櫻花樹下，一邊喝著清酒，一邊欣賞美麗的櫻花。在經過了花見的儀式後，大家又充滿著能量面對日常生活。雖然每個人的力量有限，但是透過互相合作的方式，可以激發出像櫻花般燦爛的絢麗。

“Sakura”, a cherry blossom, is a flower with a special meaning for Japanese people."Sakura" tells us the end of long winter and the beginning of spring.Under cherry trees we hold a party called “Ohanami” to get together with close friends and family, drink sake or tea admiring the beauty of the flowers.We restore our spirits there and go back to our daily lives.Although the power of each person is small, we believe that we can create beauty like cherry blossoms by uniting and working together. "

我們也在休憩後，充滿著能量面對生活上的挑戰。

雖然每個人的力量有限，但是透過互相合作的方式，可以激發出像櫻花般燦爛的絢麗。

Mother Nature waking from winter season. She is preparing to male masterpiece of whole world.

We restore our spirits there and go back to our daily lives.

Although the power of each person is small, we believe that we can create beauty like cherry blossoms

by uniting and working together. "

開時，我們稱之為「開花」。在全球各地都有著不同品種的花朵。花這個名稱同時也代表著植物盛開的意思，許多人都喜歡在自己的後院中欣賞花開的美景。無論在何處，花朵的綻放代表著重要的意涵—它們不僅提供了昆蟲、鳥類、動物以及人類食物，同時也可做為人類與動物的藥物來源。花朵在植物的繁殖中，扮演著舉足輕重的角色。

A flower is the most colorful Part in many plants. We call the plants " flowers ", " is flowering " or " is in flower ", when this colorful part begins to grow bigger and open out. There are many different kinds of flowers in different areas in the world.Flowers are also called the blossom of a plant. People also enjoy growing flowers in their backyards.The importance of flowers in nature is everywhere. They can feed insects, birds, animals and humans, provide natural medicines for humans and some animals. The main purpose of flowers is to aid in plant reproduction.




作品名稱：靈魂 Having a Soul

About the existence of the soul speaks the ability to find harmony with the surrounding world, to love

Flowers are like living beings that see and hear everything. They can tell about our feelings.




作品名稱：蜂后 Queen Bee

沙雕師： Delayne Michael Corbett（加拿大 Canada）作品說明：蜜蜂就像是精靈的化身，輕巧地穿梭在花叢中，繁衍著生命並提供大地滋

養。蜂后是孕育蜂群生命的領袖。若沒有蜜蜂和蜂后，地球萬物將面臨前

所未有的衝擊。

Bees are real life fairies, flitting amongst the flowers, propagating life and nourishment for all. Guiding

them is the Queen Bee, whom gives the bees life and purpose. Without bees, and their matriarch, all

life on earth would be severely altered.




作品名稱：花束 Bouquet

沙雕師： Bruce Leslie Phillips（美國 USA）作品說明：「花束」代表著美國與臺灣之間的友誼，透過二國的國花做為代表，以玫

瑰代表美國，而梅花代表臺灣，以花的美麗突顯出二國之間的情誼。

"Bouquet" represents the friendship between my country of America and the country of Taiwan.

Represented on both sides of the sculpture are the official flowers of each of our countries. The

Rose representing America and the Plum Blossom representing Taiwan. The beauty of the flowers

accentuates the clean lines of the abstract platform for which they are displayed upon.

Play the texture of this wonderful and magical material I will try to create an impression that she

沙雕師： Elisa Sordelli（義大利 Italy）作品說明：大地在經過了孤寂的冬日後，開始漸漸甦醒迎接春天的到來。

小精靈從漸漸盈開的花朵中走出，迫不及待地想一探萬物盛開的景象。

The nature's awakening from the winter, starting a new life with the spring,

there is a kid fairy that is coming out from the flowers, going to discover the bloom in the sunlight.




作品名稱：等同的美景 Equality of beauty

沙雕師： Willem Frederik Stijger（荷蘭 Netherlands）作品說明：人們常常忽略了花朵的美麗。因此，我在作品中將美麗女子的臉龐與花朵

結合，希望能讓觀賞者發掘此相等之美景。

Many times, when we look at flowers we don't realize how beautiful they are. in my sculpture I try to

combine a beautiful girl face with beautiful flowers to attract the viewer like flowers does and that

they discover the equality of beauty!

涼爽的春日夜晚，使荷蘭成為最適合鬱金香生長的環境。當地低窪開拓的地質，提供了鬱金香最喜愛的乾爽但不乾燥的土壤。每年自三月中到五月底，盛開的鬱金香將荷蘭變成一個五顏六色的地方，如果你在四月拜訪荷蘭，放眼所及全都是目不暇給的絢爛色彩。假若你從未造訪荷蘭，不妨到福隆海灘欣賞我為你們帶來的鬱金香。

Fields filled with beautiful colorIts long spring season with cool nights makes Holland the perfect country for tulip growing. The soil in the polders is continuously drained, creating perfect growing conditions for tulip bulbs, which love well drained but moist soil.From mid-March to the end of May, the tulips transform big parts of Holland into a colorful patchwork quilt. If you are traveling to Holland do see the tulips in April, you will discover fields filled with gorgeous color everywhere.For all the people that don’t have the opportunity to travel to Holland, I brought some tulips to Fulong beach. Enjoy!

沙雕師： Beaubyssan Sodjine Atisso（多哥 Togolese Republic）作品說明：非洲文化中，在各種儀式中以面具做為代表母親與生命力的象徵。

此種面具有著神祕的力量，可使不育的婦女在觸碰後受育，因此也延伸出一種傳說：「女性是

人類世界中的花朵。」以花朵不斷繁殖的角色象徵女性孕育人類。

African fertility mask has been used in African culture for centuries during rituals to evoke motherhood

and birth.

The mystery about it that infertile women could get pregnant by touching the mask, though the legend

says: “Women are the flowers of humanity." This comparison underlines the ability of flowers to

ensure the continuity and perennials of spices and so are women to humanity.




作品名稱：百合花獻舞 Dance of the lily

沙雕師：丁元茜 TING, YUAN-CHIEN（臺灣 Taiwan）作品說明：一年一度的慶典又到了，大家都開心的跳起舞，這時吸引眾人目光的是百

合花曼妙的舞姿，看來這次的主角非她莫屬。

All things on earth dance to celebrate the arrival of the annual ritual. Among them, the lithe and

graceful dance from the lily makes her the most eye-catching focus.

In the Middle Ages, lily was used to represent the beauty of women and symbolize purity. The graceful

and elegant lily fairies bring vitality and peace to the land by gazing upon the blooming lilies.

沙雕師： Craig Ian Mutch（加拿大 Canada）作品說明：優雅嬌嫩的蘭花，是許多人夢寐以求的觀賞植物，她象徵著愛、華麗、美麗、

以及力量。在古希臘時代，蘭花是性能力的象徵。據說若女性吃下蘭花根，

便可誕下女娃。

The most highly coveted of ornamental plants, the delicate, exotic and graceful orchid represents love,

luxury, beauty and strength. In ancient Greece, orchids were associated with virility. ... If the mother ate

small orchid tubers, she would give birth to a girl.




作品名稱：瞬間 Ephemeral

沙雕師： Fanny Vieira（葡萄牙 Portugal）作品說明：對我而言，花朵代表的是短暫的生命，她們的生命稍縱即逝，有的花朵綻

放可維持數月的光景，但也有的只能維持 1 天。花朵易逝的生命也正是她

們獨特之處。

Ephemeral, flowers for me are the symbol of everything that is ephemeral that will live and die

quickly, their life is so much shorter than ours, some flowers blossom for months, others just for 1 day.

Fact that they are so fragile and ephemeral that make theme so special. This was my thought for this

drawing.

Paeonia suffruticosa is generally known as the “king of flowers”, symbolizing feminine beauty and

charm.




作品名稱：重生 Reborn

沙雕師：方智達 FANG, JHIH-DA（臺灣 Taiwan）作品說明：大地孕育萬物，四季皆有不同景緻。春暖花開的季節，是大地甦醒的表徵。

含苞待放的花朵，孕育小生命的母親，都是為了迎接這令人喜悅的一刻。

大地用母愛滋養著我們，讓萬物在無憂無慮的環境中成長茁壯。

Mother Nature breeds everything and brings different views at all seasons. The arrival of spring

awakens the Earth and brings forth new life that has lain within her womb during the winter. The

budding flowers and pregnant women are more than happy to welcome this delightful moment. Mother

Nature nurtures us with her love and provides a carefree environment for us to grow.
