When I was 21 I went to East Africa with my mother, and then struck out on my own. For the next 5 years I lived and traveled between there and England. Sometimes I went first class, sometimes 3rd class, sometimes I hitchhiked. I sailed down the Nile on a tiny open felucca, I rode a stallion at dawn down the Giza Plateau to see the pyramids, I lived in a squat, I had my own apartments. I trained

polo ponies, I was a sales clerk, once a ghastly waitress. Sudan, Kenya, Tanzania, Egypt, Cyprus, Greece, Yugoslavia, Austria, Switzerland, France, England, Morocco, India, Nepal and more. I took pictures, I took pictures everywhere. When I finally returned home, people liked what they saw. I continued to shoot. Just for me, really. I like to see beautiful things, so that’s what I photograph. I look for love, and find it everywhere. That’s what I want to see. And share.
