We place a huge emphasis on creating the right working environment, and believe we have a unique blend of personnel who can lead the company to achieve its goals and aspirations over the coming years.

In 1994 Keith Cheshire graduated as a fully qualified Flooring Technician, travelling the length and the breadth of the UK fitting a variety of floor coverings and specialising in design floors.

Keith’s high standards of fitting and his ability to find the best solution for the client saw him promoted to the role of supervisor, managing installation projects and leading teams of fitters.

In recognition of his long service record, Keith was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2013, where he has responsibility for overseeing the work of all operatives across the company.

Outside of work Keith enjoys a game of squash, as well as spending time with his young family.

Along with three other employees, Keith will be celebrating 25 years with FLR Group in 2014, and will play a pivotal role in the future direction of the company.

OUR COMMUNITY...

AT FLR GROUP WE BELIEVE IN SUPPORTING OUR LOCAL COMMUNITIES THROUGH A RANGE OF CHARITABLE AND SPONSORSHIP ACTIVITIES.

FLR Group, along with fellow sponsors have helped to raise in excess of £35,000 through the organisation of a series of charity balls in aid of Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

The black tie events held at The Village Hotel in Solihull are aimed at raising the profile of the Neurology Department and in particular their work around epilepsy.

Birmingham Children’s Hospital treats around 250,000 patients each year and is regarded as one of the

best children’s hospitals in Europe.

The biennial event will next take place in March 2014 where the Group are delighted once again to be supporting the work of consultant neurologist Dr Sunny Philip.

“It is a testament to the hard work of Dr Philip and his team that the events have been so well supported. Through the generosity of our guests we anticipate another successful year in 2014” commented Faith Walker, Commercial Director at FLR Group and one of the organisers.

OUR PREMISES...TO COMPLIMENT OUR BUSINESS ASPIRATIONS, WE ACQUIRED NEW PREMISES IN 2013 ON THE MONKSPATH BUSINESS PARK IN SOLIHULL, CREATING EXTENSIVE OFFICE, WAREHOUSING AND SHOWROOM SPACE.

This commitment to the growth and expansion of the company is underpinned by the investment in our growing workforce, including the appointment of an in-house design and marketing team as we seek to raise our online profile during 2014 and beyond.

Office and Meeting RoomsThe first floor accommodates office space, meetings rooms, presentation area and product library. Our meeting rooms will be available for prospective and existing clients, as well as for staff training including external continuing professional development (CPD). It is also hoped that through strategic partnerships with local schools and community groups, our facility can be put to good use for a variety of different sessions.

ShowroomFLR Group are an Amtico Design Centre, which means, we have the widest range of Amtico flooring in the West Midlands, available to view six days a week in our spacious Solihull showroom.We are also a:
