The CertiFiber Pro Optical Loss Test Set improves the efficiency of fibre optics certification. The Taptive user interface simplifies set-up, eliminates errors and speeds troubleshooting. A set reference wizard ensures correct reference setting and eliminates negative loss errors. Built on the future-ready Versiv platform, CertiFiber Pro OLTS provides merged Tier 1 (Basic) / Tier 2 (Extended) testing and reporting when paired with OptiFiber Pro module. A convenient quad module supports both singlemode and multimode and is multimode Encircled Flux compliant. Copper certification and Wi-Fi Analysis and Ethernet troubleshooting modules are also available. Analyse test results and create professional test reports using LinkWare Management Software.

The OptiFiber® Pro is the industry’s first OTDR built from the ground up to meet the challenges of enterprise fibre optic infrastructures. This OTDR range elevates fibre optic testing with the industry’s only smart phone interface that turns a technician into a fibre expert. The Data Centre OTDR configuration eliminates uncertainty and errors that occur when testing data centre fibre. Its ultra-short dead zones enable testing of fibre patch cords in virtualised data centres.

End-face contamination is a leading cause of fibre failures. Dirt and contaminant cause insertion loss and back-reflection that inhibits optical transmission and causes havoc with transceivers. Fibre loss and OTDR testing can expose this problem, but in many cases, dirty connections make fibre testing time consuming and inaccurate. Since dirt can be an issue before, during, or after fibre optic certification testing, and migrate from one end-face to another upon mating, both sides of any connection must always be cleaned and inspected. The FI-7000 FiberInspector Pro enables you to quickly inspect and certify fibre end-faces inside ports or patch cords. Its 2-second automated PASS/FAIL certification eliminates human subjectivity and enables anyone to become a fibre inspection expert.

Today’s communications technicians have more problems to deal with than just the cabling. They have to rule out a whole host of cable and service issues before  determining the cause of a connectivity problem. Is there telephone voltage? What’s the polarity? Is there a switch at the far end? Is PoE available? MicroScanner2 gives technicians high power vision to verify today’s most common voice, data, and video services.

MicroScanner2 features built-in IntelliTone digital and analogue toning to precisely locate virtually any cable or wire pair, regardless of work environment. Use digital mode to locate high-grade data cabling (Cat 5e/6/6a) in bundles, or at switches, patch panels, or wall outlets. Or, use analogue mode on voice-grade cabling (Cat 3 and below), as well as coax, security/alarm, and speaker wiring.

CableIQ qualification tester is the first cabling bandwidth tester for network technicians. This Ethernet network cable tester gives even the most novice tech the vision to see what speeds existing cabling can support, quickly isolate cabling from network problems, and discover what is at the far end of any cable. That means network techs can close trouble tickets faster, reduce on-call time, and save money by better utilizing their existing infrastructure.

CableIQ qualification tester’s powerful network troubleshooting capability and intuitive interface enable your front line technicians to identify and troubleshoot a wider range of problems within your network infrastructure. Is the port active? Are the duplex settings matched? Is it a network problem or a Ethernet cable problem? Can the Ethernet cable support the required network bandwidth? CableIQ network cable tester is the only Ethernet cable tester that can answer all these questions before trouble tickets are escalated to the next level reducing problem escalation by up to 30%.

TS® 90 - This easy-to-use, competitively priced tester is three tools in one—a fault locator, a cable and wire manager and a tone generator with SmartTone technology. From just ONE END of any two or more conductor cable you can measure up to 2,500 feet (762 meters). Easily find the distance to opens or shorts on electrical wire, telephone wire, security wire and coax. Results appear as a distance reading rather than a waveform, so it’s perfect for technicians unfamiliar with Time Domain Reflectometery (TDR). Patented SmartTone technology gives you five distinct tones to use for exact wire and pair identification, even in proximity to current-bearing cable.

TS® 100 -From just ONE END of any two or more conductor cable you can measure up to 3,000 feet (915 meters). The TS 100 cable fault locator lets you easily find the distance to opens or shorts on electrical wire, telephone wire, security wire and coax. Results appear as a distance reading rather than a waveform, so it’s perfect for technicians unfamiliar with Time Domain Reflectometery (TDR). The TS 100 cable fault locator is perfect for inventory management of cable stock in trucks and warehouses and it can help you generate more accurate bids for jobs by quickly assessing needs and managing the cable stock with greater accuracy.

The IntelliTone™ Pro 200 LAN Toner and Probe Series from Fluke Networks is the first network cable toner and probe to offer digital and analogue signalling all in one network toner and probe. That means it’s equipped with the most powerful cable location technologies for any work environment. Use digital mode to trace and locate data cabling safely and effectively on active networks. Use analog mode to isolate individual wire pairs, and trace voice, audio, and video cabling.
