Purpose of #fluscenario

• To introduce you to pandemic ‘flu and emergency planning

• To develop an online learning conversation

#fluscenario

• Based on previous work by #nhssm (NHS Social Media)

• Original scenarios written by Mr Alex Talbott and Dr Chloe Sellwood

Structure

• Private study periods:

Scenario outlined at https://mbchb.dundee.ac.uk/fluscenario/– Tutor will be online for the periods described for real time

responses• Throughout block

– @DundeePublicH on Twitter (expect a quick response 8am-8pm)

– #fluscenario– Expect interaction from non-students

• Times when real time response is available• Once a phase is posted feel free to keep commenting on it

getting involved, not learning all the details

Expectations

• All students are required to contribute to all four phases, either through comments on the blog or twitter feed

• Students who fail to engage adequately will be considered to be acting unprofessionally, and dealt with accordingly
