The group that issued the threat is claiming it has the ability to delete millions of Apple iCloud accounts using stolen AppleID credentials, and that millions of iCloud accounts will be deleted tomorrow (April 7). It’s important to understand that there have been no reported security concerns or breaches related to this threat; by issuing this communication, we are taking steps to ensure that any AppleID accounts you use for work or personal use are protected. There is no way to confirm whether or not this threat is valid, but, to be safe, AHS IT and the AHSecure Team recommends that Apple account holders reset their AppleID passwords as soon as possible. Instructions on how to reset your Apple iCloud account passwords can be found here: https://support.apple.com/kb/ph2617?locale=en_US ****************************************************** ALL RESIDENTS – SAVE the DATE – PFSP RESIDENT WELLNESS CONFERENCE – MAY 11, 2017
