I find myself saying that over and over again as I proudly promote all the events and programs available in Aldershot. We are truly blessed in this community.

We have access to Burlington’s only marina. We live near the Royal Botanical Gardens. We host a model railway display, parts of the Bruce Trail, an arena, an indoor pool, a radio control model air field, huge parks, the annual Honour Roll celebra-tion, the Tree of Hope Christmas party, the Joseph Brant Day Festival, church and school events, and on and on. Living in Aldershot is great!

This annual edition of FOCUS ON ALDERSHOT pulls together all the lists of community groups, agencies, organizations and events that contribute to the west end. My thanks to all of those who contribute to this publication including the finan-cial sponsors who make it possible, especially the Aldershot Village B.I.A.

We have a lot to be proud of in Aldershot. At the end of this year we will specifically celebrate the opening of our newly expanded library branch.

I hope you enjoy the latest edition of FOCUS.

Rick

The west end is where it’s all happening!
