The Focus T25 Nutrition Plan is probably oneof the most condensed nutrition plans I haveever seen. When you compare it to some otherslike the P90X Nutrition Plan or the InsanityNutrition Plan, you are going to be pleasentlysurprised at how simple they keep things. Oneof the philosophies that I have always had withnutrition is that, if you keep nutrition simple…more people will be successful with it. TheFocus T25 Nutrition Plan nailed it! One of thereasons I developed the Nutrition Zone was tohelp simplify nutrition for you guys (by the way,let me know if the Nutrition Zone is a helpfulresource for you – just comment below.thanks!!!)

But lets get right into showing just how simple the Focus T25 Nutrition Plan really is!

Overview Of The Focus T25 Nutrition PlanFocus T25 is really focused on a broader audience than something like Insanity or Body Beast, so its onlyappropriate that the nutrition side of it be appealing to a more broad audience as well. The philosophybehind the Focus T25 Nutrition Plan is this:

“It’s simple. Eat smaller portions, 5 times a day.”

Eating every few hours has been proven to regulate blood sugar levels which prevents those crazy bingecravings and that up and down energy roller coaster. It has also been shown to improve yourmetabolism! The T25 diet recommends eating breakfast, lunch, dinner, and two snacks every day.

The 4-Step Calorie Quiz

In the T25 Nutrition Guide you are shown what they are calling a “4-step calorie quiz” to figure out if youshould be eating 1,200 calories or 1,600 calories per day. This is where the simplicity comes in. They onlygive you two calorie intake options and 4 questions to determine which calorie intake you will use. Thisdoesn’t really work for the person who is trying to maintain their fitness results and need upwards of2500 calories per day to do so. If you are not trying to lose fat, then I recommend following amaintenance diet based on the P90X nutrition plan. But the 4-step calorie quiz is an awesome way tovery quickly (and college-level-math free way) of determining how many calories per day you should beeating to lose fat.

Calories Per MealThe simpleness continues where the Focus T25 Nutrition Plan breaks down your calories per meal foryou! These are based on estimates depending on your target calories for the day and the recipes whichyou will find in the T25 Nutrition Guide when you order Focus T25 are designed to work with both the1,2oo and 1,600 calorie intake levels.

Here is how the “calories per meal” breaks down for each intake level:

Conclusions On The T25 Meal PlanThe Focus T25 Nutrition Plan is perfect for someone who is just beginning their fitness journey and wantsto get great results. Its simple, easy to follow, and literally anyone can understand it. Where I see theT25 Nutrition Plan falling short is for people who want to get extreme results…In order to do that, youhave to be precise with your nutrition! You have to track every gram of proteins, carbs, and fats and besure your macronutrient ratio is in line with your goal. If you haven’t done so yet, be sure you check outthe Nutrition Zone where I walk you through how to do all these things step-by-step! Otherwise, thisFocus T25 Nutrition Plan will suit most fitness goers goals!

FOCUS…AND DIG DEEPER!

Coach Todd

PS – what it all comes down to is commitment. If getting the results that have eluded you for so long isimportant to you…then you will do WHATEVER IT TAKES to make sure you dont fail!

…This is EXACTLY WHAT I TEACH in my 5 day FREE Bootcamp: How to prevent failure, and my exactstep-by-step method that I used to lose that 60lbs and get in the best shape of my life!

Change IS Possible!

I know I may be asking way too much for a workout program. I want thisprogram, but can you get ripped doing this workout? My gym days are overand I don't have time to workout for 1 hour. That sounds lazy, but I leave myhouse when it's dark and come when it's dark. Give me some truth be for Ispend over a $100.

I've been looking for a workout that have results. I've looked into insanity andreviewed it on line. What I noticed that a lot of people got results, but also aftereffects such as shin splints, bad joint pain and back problems. Definitely notwhat I'm looking for.

I'm not in the best shape. I am overweight. I can't do one full push up. I can doa modified one but not on my toes. So for me I need a workout that is doable. Iknow it takes time, energy, and will to see results, but modifications in aworkout routine that will help me conquer my goals is very important.

As for the nutrition guide. Is the T25 difficult to follow? Meaning does it makeme buy stuff I've never heard of a create meals that are a bit difficult toprepare? Or is it something easy to follow?

These are some questions I have because its quite an investment at least forme.

@newyorksandy Oh totally sandy! It is definitely an investment inyour health, time, effort...well worth it though. I have a sample dietplan of my P90X nutrition that really help people understand what"types" of food they will be buying. Check out "my 1900 calorie diet"under the "nutrition zone" tab up above. Also, the T25 nutrition guidenever has you use more than 5 ingredients I believe...So long as youstick to lean meats, fruits, veggies and complex carbohydrates...youwill be just fine! Are you working with a coach at all to guide youthrough all this stuff?

@newyorksandy I'm way outta shape (5 kids later), I started the T25and its not that bad. No push up so far. I follow the modifier, whichmakes it way easier. But you still get a good workout. Honestly, afterthe first day of any work out video, I'm usally so sore, that I have towait 2 or 3 days later before trying again and most of the time I canteven make it through whole video. But I've done it everyday all theway through for the past week, which is huge for me. And once I feel

P.S I will start my new Focus t25 workout on Monday.

Like

@jasmin316 I personally prefer the morning because it really setsthe pace for the rest of the day and gives me a ton of energy! Therereally is no physiological "best time" to workout though. The BESTtime to workout is when you can do it consistently! If thats themorning, DO IT...if thats in the evening...DO IT! I dont think that oneor two glasses of wine would hurt your diet, but just be sure to log itinto myfitnesspal the morning you know you will be drinking it, thatway you can account for it without going over!

Hello todd I was wonder if you thought the calorie levels are safe/good forextreme results? I was thinking about doing a 40/40/20 plan. The nutritionguide says I should eat 1600 calories. I am planning on starting on Monday, I

did do 80 percent of Insanity but I was graduating from high school at the timeso my schedule conflicted with my workouts. I went from 186 to 169, sohopefully I can lose the remaining fat with T25. I don't take supplements orshakeology, because I am saving for college etc. My goal was 165, but I mighthit that soon so I might make my goal 155. I am also 5' 7" so I am not a tallguy, in the beginning of my fitness journey I weighed 196. I am hoping youcould give me advice to lose the extra bit of fat, especially love handles lol.

coachtodd@bryan244 They are safe, but if you find that you are lacking energy(not as a result of sleep deprivation), then I would recommendbumping up the calorie intake by 200 cals or so. I would recommenddoing a fat shredder ratio of 50/30/20 if you are over 10% body fat, then once you get down to 10%, switch to the 40/40/20. This willspeed up your fat loss! Did this help???

Could i use the same diet plan as in p90x, the fat shredder (ex: 50/30/20 formacro nutrients) for focus t25? I plan on doing around 2000 calories with thisprogram. I just order the program, but plan on going to the store before itcomes in. Since i am short on time with work, travel, and family, i wanted tobuy in bulk since i am going to sams club thats across town. Of course it goingto differ a little, but i am talking about things such as: eggs, tuna, salmon, etc. Idont have the nutrition guide yet, so i dont know how much it differs form p90xand insanity (both which i have completed). I will also be eating fruits andveggies, which i buy at the local farmers market and not in bulk. Thanks.

out. I'm not sure if I'll do the program in it's entirety right away, I really do wantto lean down & tone but I'm still really concerned the trade off will be losing toomuch muscle I've been working so hard on building.

Still, it's GREAT to have some variety, I can pretty much recite the Insanitydialog word for work at this point.. haha
