• Apply Step 3: Review and Revise to the words you must memorize.

• If you need to “re-write” to organize your notes, that is OK!

4 - Note Key Ideas• Identify first “chunk” or

“big idea” of the notes.• Write a question about the

main idea of that “chunk” in the LEFT column.

• Repeat until all “chunks” are identified with corresponding questions.

• Apply Step 4: Note Key Ideas. Identify the first “chunk” or “big idea” of the notes.oWrite a question or main idea
