From the Folk Art Panel - Cream (A), cut:• Fussy cut (4) 10 ½” squares each centered on a floral block.

From the Small Floral - Black (B), cut:• (2) 2” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (8) 2” x 10 ½” strips.• (3) 2” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (8) 2” x 13 ½” strips.• (1) 2 ⅞” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (5) 2 ⅞” squares. Cut each square across one diagonal to make (10) small triangles.• See instructions to cut (8) Border Dots.

From the Diamond Texture - Cream (C), cut:• (1) 6 ⅞” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (5) 6 ⅞” squares. Cut each square across one diagonal to make (10) large triangles.• (3) 6 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 6 ½” x 51 ½” strips.• (2) 6 ½” x 39 ½” WOF strips.

From the Wavy Stripe - Cream (D), cut:• (1) 6 ⅞” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (5) 6 ⅞” squares. Cut each square across one diagonal to make (10) large triangles.

Sewing Instructions1. Sew (1) 2” x 10 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of (1) 10 ½” Fabric A square. Sew (1) 2” x 13 ½” Fabric B strip to the top and bottom of the Fabric A square to make Block One square (Fig. 1). Trim to measure 12 ½” square. Repeat to make (4) Block One square.

2. Sew together (1) 2 ½” Fabric E square, (1) 2 ½” Fabric F square and (1) Fabric I triangle to make the top row. Sew together (1) 2 ½” Fabric G square and (1) Fabric B triangle to make the middle row. Sew the top row to the middle row. Sew (1) Fabric H triangle to the bottom to make (1) Unit 1 triangle (Fig. 2). Repeat to make (5) Unit 1 triangles total.

3. Sew (1) Unit 1 triangle to (1) Fabric C triangle to make (1) Unit 2 block (Fig. 3). Repeat to make (5) Unit 2 blocks total.

4. Sew together Fabric J triangle, (1) 2 ½” Fabric K square and (1) 2 ½” Fabric M square to make the top row. Sew together (1) Fabric L triangle and (1) 2 ½” Fabric N square to make the middle row. Sew the top row to the middle row. Sew (1) Fabric O triangle to the bottom to make (1) Unit 3 triangle (Fig. 4). Repeat to make (5) Unit 3 triangles total.

6. Sew together (1) 2 ½” Fabric O square, (1) 2 ½” Fabric K square and (1) Fabric S triangle to make the bottom row. Sew together (1) 2 ½” Fabric N square and (1) Fabric R triangle to make the middle row. Sew the bottom row to the middle row. Sew (1) Fabric J triangle to the top to make (1) Unit 5 triangle (Fig. 6). Repeat to make (5) Unit 6 triangles total.

8. Sew together (1) Fabric I triangle, (1) 2 ½” Fabric F square, (1) 2 ½” Fabric Q square to make the bottom row. Sew together (1) Fabric B triangle and (1) 2 ½” Fabric G square to make the middle row. Sew the bottom row to the middle row. Sew (1) Fabric P triangle to the top to make (1) Unit 7 triangle (Fig. 8). Repeat to make (5) Unit 7 triangles total.

5. Sew (1) Unit 3 triangle to (1) Fabric D triangle to make (1) Unit 4 block (Fig. 5). Repeat to make (5) Unit 4 blocks total.

7. Sew (1) Unit 6 triangle to (1) Fabric D triangle to make (1) Unit 6 block (Fig. 7). Repeat to make (5) Unit 6 blocks total.

9. Sew (1) Unit 7 triangle to (1) Fabric C triangle to make (1) Unit 8 block (Fig. 9). Repeat to make (5) Unit 8 blocks total.

10. Sew together (1) Unit 2 block and (1) Unit 4 block to make the top row. Sew together (1) Unit 6 block and (1) Unit 8 block to make the bottom row. Sew the rows together to make Unit 9 (Fig. 10). Repeat to make (5) Unit 9 blocks total.

11. Following the manufacturer’s instructions, trace the listed number of each template onto the paper side of the fusible web. Roughly cut out each template about 1/8” outside the drawn lines.

12. Press each template onto the wrong side of the fabrics as listed on the templates. Cut out each template on the drawn lines.

13. Refer to the Figure 11 to arrange and press the stems, leafs, daisies, daisy centers and star to the center of each Unit 9 block as shown to make (1) Block Two square. Repeat to make (5) Block Two squares total.

14. Refer to the Figure 12 to arrange and press the bias strips vines, leafs, dots and stars to the center of (1) 6 ½” x 51 ½” Fabric C strip as shown to make the Top Border Strip. Repeat to make the Bottom Border Strip.

15. Refer to the Figure 13 to arrange and press the bias strips vines, leafs, dots and stars to the center of (1) 6 ½” x 39 ½” Fabric C strip as shown to make (1) Side Border strip. Repeat to make a second Side Border Strip.

16. Finish the raw edges of each shape with a decorative stitch such as a buttonhole or satin stitch.

Quilt Layout

Quilt Top Assembly (Refer to the Quilt Layout while assembling.)17. Sew (1) Block Two square to each side of (1) Block One square to make Row One. Repeat to make Row Three.

18. Sew (1) Block One square to each side of (1) Block Two square to make Row Two.

19. Sew the (3) rows together to make the Center Block.

20. Sew (1) 2” x 36 ½” Fabric L strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 2” x 39 ½” Fabric L strip to the top and bottom of the Center Block.

21. Sew (1) Side Border Strip from Step 15 to each side of the Center Block.

22. Sew the Top and Bottom Border strips from Step 14 to the Center Block to make the quilt top.

23. Layer and quilt as desired.

24. Sew the (6) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric Q strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.

25. Bind as desired.
