An associate’s degree from our college is an opportunity that opens the door to a golf career that can last a lifetime.
Golf Academy of America is an educational institution offering a comprehensive curriculum of golf instruction and business management. It is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. In as few as 16 months, students complete an associate’s degree in Golf Complex Operations and Management.
Preparing for a lifetime of achievement in the business of golf is a serious job, but our students have a lot of fun doing it. Academic coursework and hands-on workshops are vital, but since our five campuses are located in some of the world’s hottest golf spots, you’ll play a lot of golf!
Our faculty consists of more than 40 full-time PGA Professionals. Our balanced curriculum includes Business Management; Marketing, Advertising and Sales; Short Game Mechanics; Financial Management; Methods of Teaching; Tournament Administration and much more.
Opportunities in the golf industry are vast, and golf employers look for people with a balance of golf knowledge, business expertise and people skills. Career positions include club management, food and beverage, retail, golf manufacturing, tourism, instruction, club repair, tournament administration and many others.

Whether practicing indoors, outdoors or on the course, hands-on experience is essential toachieving your individual game developmentgoals. Each campus has an outstanding indoor training center combined with an outdoor comprehensive practice program. All instruction is administered by caringand knowledgeable PGA Professionals. With our one-price tuition, there are no surprises. The tuition and fees include:coursework, green fees, range balls weekly tournament play, instructional clinics, individual lessons, weekly open play,all textbooks, career placement and job assistance after graduation.
Financial aid is available for those who qualify. Veterans and military families may receive special benefits and/or financial aid.Each Golf Academy of America campus location offers at least 20 local, top-quality golf courses–both for tournament play and for your open play selection. Weeklytournaments are held for Golf Academyof America students to help gauge golfimprovement and gain tournamentoperations experience. These tournaments area great way to build camaraderie, networkingabilities and confidence in your golf game.
