The foodies concept

The idea is to provide quality meals on the High Street offering either 1 or 2 of your 5 a day. We would also create a smaller version for children with more child friendly menus but still sticking to the principal of providing high quality food on the go. To do this we have created a box based on the noodle boxes you find in America, made from a single piece of cardboard sealed with food safe plastic.

Outdoor foodies

We want to create a foodie trailer which will allow us to attend summer festivals and will allow us to create a following via Twitter and Facebook. We are already scheduled to attend Glastonbury, Latitude, Camp Bestival and The Thames Festival and are in talks with organisers of Brighton Pride. We aim to follow in the steps of Square Pie and Battersea Pie who both created followings at festivals leading to retail operations.

We have already made 20,000 boxes branded as fabulous foodies and have already used 5,000 of them at events and conferences.

Thus we already know people like the idea and also that the idea works. We have baked the boxes in a number of situations with a variety of food inside the box and thus are extremely confident in our product.

We know how long time it takes to heat food within the box, how long we can keep it hot and how long it takes for the box to be cool enough to carry.

We also know the best quantities to fill the box without over filling.

As the box can easily be branded there could be a future tie in with companies who are already involved in festivals or large gatherings such as O2, Heart (Global) radio or Guinness.
