KS1 & KS2 Afterschool Football Club
Dear Parent/Carer
Any children interested in playing football are invited to Squirrels After School Football Club
on Fridays starting from Friday 2nd March. The football club will last until 4.30 p.m. (your
child can stay after that, but there will be an additional charge for this). I will be coaching the
children and I will choose the school team from children who practise in this club. There will
be a charge of 4.00 a week for this club all the children will be given a healthy snack as
part of this.
For health and safety reasons your child will need to wear shin pads at all times (inside or
out). Children need to be appropriately dressed for the weather and, when the weather
permits, the children will be outdoor training. When this is the case they will need to wear
football boots. Therefore, in case of bad weather your child will need trainers for any activity
that may take place on the yard or in the hall.
Football is a contact/physical sport and therefore I must be able to contact parents/carers at all
times should there be an emergency during the period of the session.
On occasions it will be necessary to cancel After School Football club in the event of myself
attending courses/training or if the weather is severe and there is no access to indoor facilities.
When this is the case a letter and text message will be distributed to all parents/guardians of
football club attendees.
If your child would like to attend this club, please complete the slip attached and return it to
myself or Mrs Boycott at Reception.
