The Football Philippines Magazine (FPM) in cooperation with the National Capital Region Football Association (NCRFA) will stage the first 7aside Football for Yuppies Cup on December 15, 2012 from 8 AM to 6 PM at the University of the Philippines Track and Field Oval in Diliman, Quezon City. The Football for Yuppies Cup aims to promote football among young professionals who have previous playing experience and those who are interested in getting into the sport. The tournament is also open to footballers that regularly play the sport for recreation and fun. The tournament will also determine the level of competitiveness among teams for a corporateyuppies league in 2013. In line with this, we would like to invite your team or club to participate in this fun football festival. To register, please fillup the attached form and email to [email protected]. To complete your registration, you may pay the cup fee of P3,000 on or before December 8, 2012. We will get in touch with you for the coaches meeting to discuss the details of the tournament. RULES  &  REGULATIONS    

 1. TIME  

• Corporate  15min  straight  • Women’s  open  15  min  straight  • Men’s  open  12  min  straight  

2. TOURNAMENT  FORMAT  • Corporate  teams  will  be  divided  into  2  groups  of  5  teams  each  group,  the  top  (2)  teams  

will  advance  to  the  semi-­‐finals,  and  the  winner  of  the  semi-­‐finals  will  advance  to  the  championship,  while  losing  teams  will  play  for  3rd  place.  

• Women’s  open  will  follow  the  same  format  of  the  Corporate  teams.  • Men’s  open  will  be  divided  into  4  groups  of  5  teams  each  group,  the  top  (1)  teams  will  

advance  to  semi-­‐finals,  and  the  winner  of  the  semi-­‐finals  will  advance  to  the  championship,  while  losing  teams  will  play  for  3rd  place.  

3. Each  team  must  submit  a  line-­‐up  before  the  tournament  (12)  players  are  allowed.  4. Open  substitution  5. 7  A-­‐  side  format  6. Pass-­‐back  to  the  goalkeeper  is  allowed,  for  only  (6)  seconds.  7. No  grace  period,  all  the  teams  who  are  participating  should  have/must  have  a  copy  of  their  

game  schedule.  We  will  start  on  time;  the  tournament  will  start  at  8am  till  5pm.  8. Corporate  teams  must  have  at  least  (2)  women  players  during  a  game.  9. Club  teams  are  Men’s,  and  Women’s  open  division.  10. Player/s  from  the  United  Football  League  (UFL)  is  not  allowed  to  play.  11. To  start  a  game,  a  team  must  have  at  least  (5)  players  to  avoid  default.  12. Teams  having  two  (2)  defaults  are  automatic  out  of  the  tournament  13. No  off-­‐side  rule.  14. The  elimination  phase  of  the  competition  shall  have  a  single  round  robin  format  15. TO  BREAK  A  TIE  

• Goal  difference  • Greater  number  of  goals  scored  • Result  of  match  between  the  teams  concerned  (winner  over  the  other)  • Kicks  from  the  penalty  mark    • Drawing  of  lots  (coin  toss)  

16. The  tournament  is  sanctioned  by  the  National  Capital  Region  Football  Association.  (NCRFA)  and  the  Referees  are  all  from  the  (NCRFA).  

17. SANCTIONS  • Yellow  cards  are  not  carried  over.  • Red  card  out  of  the  tournament.  • Any  Player  or  team  involves  in  a  fight  will  be  out  of  the  tournament  • Any  team  found  cheating  in  any  way  will  be  out  of  the  tournament  and  will  receive  a  

disciplinary  action  from  the  (NCRFA).  • Any  player  or  official  reported  by  the  referee  or  the  match  commissioner  for  indiscipline  or  

violent  conduct  shall  be  dealt  with  severely  in  accordance  with  the  NCRFA  Code  of  Discipline.  18. ITEMS  NOT  COVERED  19. Items  not  covered  by  the  above  rules  shall  follow  the  rules  set  forth  by  the  FIFA  Laws  of  the  

Game.
