KINCAID REGIONAL THEATRE Music by Tom Snow | Lyrics by Dean Pitchford | Stage Adaptation by Dean Pitchford and Walter Bobbie | Based on the original screenplay by Dean Pitchford | Additional Music by Eric Carmen, Sammy Hagar, Kenny Loggins and Jim Steinman July 9 - 31, 2016 KRT - Chapel Street (Falmouth School Center) One of the most explosive movie musicals in recent memory bursts onto the live stage with exhilarating results. When Ren and his mother move from Chicago to a small farming town, Ren is prepared for the inevitable adjustment period at his new high school. What he isn't prepared for are the rigorous local edicts, including a ban on dancing instituted by the local preacher, determined to exercise the control over the town's youth that he cannot command in his own home. When the reverend's rebellious daughter sets her sights on Ren, her roughneck boyfriend tries to sabotage Ren's reputation, with many of the locals eager to believe the worst about the new kid. The

Theatre House Policies: -The House will open one half hour prior to curtain.-All seating is done on a first come first serve general admission basis. -Reserved seating is made available for large groups, handicapped individuals, or special circumstances only.

- No food or drink other than water is permitted in the Theatre House.

-Please refrain from using cell phones or tablets in the auditorium.

-The use of recording equipment in the form of photography, video or audio is strictly forbidden by copyright and could result in expulsion from the performance.

Ticket Policies: -Season subscribers have the exclusive opportunity to exchange tickets for any other performance of the same show (if available). Please contact the Box Office by telephone at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled performance. Previous tickets will then become invailid.

Facilities: Please respond to all emergency alarms. The exit indicated by a lighted sign, nearest to your seat, is the shortest route to the street. In the event of a fire or other emergency, please do not run-WALK to the exit.

Elevators are located in the back left corner of the auditorium.

Restrooms are located downstairs near the concessions.

Who’s Who?Kevin Chlapecka (Ren) is originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. He is a rising sophomore at the University of Cincinnati where he is studying to get his BFA in Musical Theatre. Favorite credits include The King in Big River, and Warren in Ordinary Days. He would like to thank his professors at CCM, MT19, and his family.

Kate Stuard (Ethel) is a recent transfer from Marymount Manhat-tan College to Northern Kentucky University as a Senior BFA Act-ing student. This is her first production here at KRT. She is elated to have this wonderful opportunity! She is originally from Cincin-nati, OH. You might have seen Kate in her most recent produc-tions at NKU’s The Winter’s Tale as Paulina, NKU’s Studio Series Circle Mirror Transformation as Marty, NKU’s Pygmalion as Mrs. EysnfordHill, or in PONES Fringe Festival play Graphic.

Brett Price (Shaw) is excited to return to Kincaid’s mainstage. Most recently, he played Jim in KRT’s Where are you Christmas? and the Conquistador in last summer’s The Addams Family. Other KRT credits include All Shook Up, It’s a Wonderful Life, Joseph, and Fiddler on the Roof. Brett is currently pursuing a degree in urban planning at UC/DAAP. He would like to thank his family, friends, Joe, Liz, Allison, and the entire KRT community for their support and encouragement.

Kaitlin McColloch (Vi) is very excited to be making her premiere at Kincaid Regional Theatre as Vi. She is currently pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre at Northern Kentucky University. At NKU she has been Makemedo in Birds and a Bird Girl in Seussical. She would like to thank her friends and family for their unwavering love and support.

Kendall McCarthy (Ariel) is a rising sophomore at CCM where she is pursuing her BFA in Musical Theatre. Favorite theatre credits include: Legally Blonde (Pilar), Jesus Christ Superstar (Mary Mag-dalene), In The Heights (Nina), Tommy (Sally Simpson). TV/Film: Changeover (Max), Pills (Teabottom), Grace Running (Jennifer), A View from the Bay (Model). Kendall is originally from Raleigh, NC. Much love and thanks to her professors and peers at CCM, her family, and Estes.

Who’s Who?Anne Schneider (Lulu/Betty Blast) This is her first show with Kincaid Regional Theatre! She is a theatre major at Northern Kentucky Universi-ty. Past roles include the Bakers Wife in ‘Into the Woods’ at NKU, Maria Delgado in ‘9 to 5’ with Warsaw Federal Incline Theatre, Morticia Addams in ‘The Addams Family’ with Sunset Players, and Terk in ‘Tarzan’ with Queen City Productions. She would like to thank her family and friends for their support, Rj Bryant for his constant encouragement, and Kincaid Regional Theatre for this amazing opportunity. Enjoy the show!

Dan Robertson (Wes): NKU BFA Acting Major – Dan Robertson is a ju-nior at Northern Kentucky University where he’s pursuing a BFA in Act-ing. He’s thrilled to be joining KRT for Footloose. Previous roles include Neppomuck in Pygmalion, Ensemble in Moon Over Buffalo, and Ensem-ble in It’s A Grand Night for Murder (NKU).

Andrew Bishop (Coach Dunbar) is a NKU senior graduating this fall. This is his 3rd summer at Kincaid, previously being ensemble in both Fiddler on the Roof and Joesph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. At NKU, he’s previously played Herman Glogauer in Once in a Lifetime and Constable Alden in The Divine Visitor and this fall will be playing Pa in The Grapes of Wrath. He also has technical work under his belt working as a Venue Tech for the past 2 Cincinnati Fringe Festivals and Improvis-es on the side with his group Ain’t No Mango!

Sarah Cox (Eleanor) is very excited to make her debut performance at Kincaid Regional Theatre in Footloose. Sarah graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgetown College with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Perfor-mance. Her most recent performance was in The Covedale Center for the Performing Arts production of Mary Poppins as Miss Lark/Dancing Doll/Sweep/Ensemble. Sarah also teaches dance and musical theatre with Performing Arts, Inc. in Cincinnati, Ohio. Sarah would like to thank her family, friends, and teachers for their love and support.

Christina Tully (Rusty) is a student at Northern Kentucky University pursuing dual degrees in Musical Theatre and Social Work. She was most recently seen onstage at KRT as Alice in The Addams Family. Favorite stage credits include Eponine in Les Miserables, Jo in Little Women the Musical and Helen Hobart in Once in a Lifetime. She is excited to portray Ma Joad in The Grapes of Wrath with NKU in the fall. Christina is thank-ful to Joe, Liz and Allison for their endless encouragement and for mak-ing this experience so fun!

Who’s Who?Leiern Jackson (Urleen) orginially from Benton, Kentucky, is a rising junior BFA Musical Theatre candidate at Northern Kentucky University, where she is an active member of NKU’s Alpha Psi Omega theatre honors fraternity, campus Presidential Ambassa-dors, and the university’s theatre department. Some of her favorite past roles include Ethel and Clara Eysnford-Hill in NKU’s Moon Over Buffalo and Pygmalion, respectively, as well as ensemble roles in NKU’s The Bacchae, Les Miserables, and Seussical. She is thrilled to be returning to Kincaid after playing Grandma in last year’s Addams Family. In her free time, Leiren loves exercising, baking, reading, writing, and loving on people. Romans 15:13

Emily Borst (Wendy Jo) is thrilled to be in her first production with KRT! She is currently a student at Northern Kentucky Uni-versity where she is pursuing her BFA in Musical Theatre. This fall she will be entering her Junior Year at NKU by playing a part in the ensemble of The Grapes of Wrath. Her previous work includes Pygmalion (Duchess/Bystander) at NKU, Scrooge’s Christmas(Be-linda/Belle’s Daughter) with Lincoln Boyhood Drama, and Urine-town(Hope Cladwell) at the Youth Performing Arts School.

Kyle Pollak (Chuck) is a rising Junior BFA musical theatre major at CCM and has been seen at school as the Lost Boy - Twin 2 in Peter Pan and Ben Rogers in Big River. Hailing from St Louis, he was seen regionally in Spamalot, Shrek the Musical, Grease, Hello Dolly!, and The Addams Family as a member of the teen ensemble at the MUNY. His favorite credit is Jimmy in Thoroughly Modern Millie. Pollak would like to thank the CCM faculty, his musical theatre class of 2018, and his loving and devoted family. Kyle dedi-cates every performance to his Uncle Dave and Max.

Kyle Angel (Lyle) is a senior at the Art Academy of Cincinnati where he is pursuing a BFA in painting and drawing with a minor in creative writing. He is happy to return to KRT after performing in their past productions of All Shook Up (Ensemble), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Simeon), and Fiddler on the Roof (Fiddler). He would like to thank his friends and family for pushing him to do the things he loves and for all of their encour-agement

Who’s Who?Collin Newton (Travis/Cowboy Bob) is from Louisville, Ken-tucky and is currently attending NKU for a BFA in Musical Theatre with a minor in dance. Recently Collin has danced with Pones, Inc. in the Cincinnati Fringe Festival; danced in Dance ’16 at NKU; as well as made appearances in She Kills Monsters at NKU and in Oklahoma! at the Greater Hamilton Civic Theatre. Other roles include: Shrek in Shrek the Mu-sical, Jr. and Max Detweiler in The Sound of Music. Collin would like to thank God for this amazing opportunity and to dedicate this performance to his mother, Janet Newton.

Zack Triska (Willard) is excited to be performing at Kincaid Regional Theatre for the first time. Zack will be going into his Sophomore year studying Musical Theatre at CCM in the Fall. Recently at CCM he was a part of a New Works titled Let There Be Light, and earlier this summer he could be seen in Songs For a New World at York Theatre in the Chicagoland Area. A Special thanks to his Mom, Dad, Kayla, Anna, and Maya.

Ben Cohen (Principal Clark/Jeter) is a sophomore at North-ern Kentucky University earning his B.F.A in musical the-atre. He is from the Cincinnati area and has been acting since the age of seven, performing in shows with East Side Players, Loveland Stage Company, Cincinnati Children’s Theatre, CCM Prep, and Cincinnati Actor’s Studio and Acad-emy. Some of his favorite roles include Man in Chair in The Drowsy Chaperone, Lord Farquaad in Shrek the Musical, and most recently the Steward in NKU’s production of Into the Woods. When not doing theatre, Ben enjoys hanging out with his cat, binging Netflix, and eating.

The BandScott Mitchell (Guitar) is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and music teacher at Mom’s Music. Scott lives in Louisville and is originally from there.

Todd Moorhead (Bass Guitar) is originally from Falmouth, Kentucky and holds a bachelors in music performance from Eastern Kentucky University.

Gary Griffith (Drums/Percussion) is a local freelance percussionist from Butler, Kentucky. Gary holds a degree in Music Education from More-head State University.

The Production TeamJoe Bertucci (Director) is happy to return to Kincaid Regional The-atre, where he has directed The Addams Family, All Shook Up, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Fiddler on the Roof, and You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown. Joe just finished his sixteenth year as director of the theatre program at Campbell County High School, where he teaches acting and serves as the Fine Arts Depart-ment Chair. In his tenure at CCHS, he has directed 49 productions, and the theatre program has been recognized with various awards. Recent musical credits at CCHS include Guys and Dolls, and the regional premiere of Big Fish. Joe received his undergraduate degree from Xavier University, and a Master’s Degree from Northern Ken-tucky University. Outside the theater, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He thanks the cast, production team, and the KRT board for this opportunity.

Allison Colvin (Music Director) is delighted to be working with KRT again this summer. Allison first worked with KRT in its very first production, “Sound of Music” playing the role of “Brigitta”. She has worked in numerous KRT productions including “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”, “Fiddler on the Roof”, “Joseph and the Amazing Tech-nicolor Dreamcoat”, and “All Shook Up”. In her spare time, Allison enjoys spending time with her family, reading, crocheting, and play-ing piano. She currently lives in Lexington, Ky and teaches math at Scott County Ninth Grade School. Allison would like to thank the KRT board and the cast and production team for this opportunity.

Elizabeth Vande Water (Choreographer) marks her fifth production at KRT with Footloose. Previous choreography credits with the company include Fiddler on the Roof (2012), Joseph and the Amazing Techni-color Dreamcoat (2013), All Shook Up (2014), and last year’s The Add-ams Family. A 2004 graduate of the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA, Elizabeth transitioned from performer to choreographer while working with MJM Spirit Dancers competition dance team. In her four years of work with the team, Elizabeth created pieces in the disciplines of ballet, lyrical, and jazz, which have been competed at both the regional and national levels. Other choreography credits include Aida (2011), All Shook Up (2012), Little Women (2013), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (2013), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (2014), Big Fish (2015), and Guys and Dolls (2016) all at Campbell County High School where she teaches English. Eliza-beth lives in Alexandria with her husband and three children.

The Production TeamLaura Martin (Costume Design) is glad to be returning for another year at KRT. She has also been the Resident Cos-tume Designer for Campbell County High School (12 years); Southern State Community College (5 years); C.A.S.T. (4 years); and Kings High School (2years). With nearly 15 years of design experience in the industry, Laura has worked as a Designers assistant at Industrial Sew Tech, Costume Shop Manager for Kilkeny Creations: Irish Dance Wear, the Cos-tume Shop Manager at Northern Kentucky University, and an Area Manager of Character Costumes at Paramount’s Kings Island. She has a BFA in Design Technology Emphasis in Costume Design, from Northern Kentucky University.

Tyler Gabbard ( Set Design, Light Design, Prop Design) Tyler is glad to be back for his ninth show with KRT. By day, Tyler is the Events and Publicity Manager for the School of the Arts at Northern Kentucky University. He has worked profession-ally in New York City and locally as a designer, stage man-ager, and arts administrator. Recent scenic design credits include Into the Woods (Northern Kentucky University), The Last Five Years (The Carnegie), and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Commonwealth Theatre Company). Other favorite designs include Urinetown the Musical, Big Fish, The Glass Menagerie, All Shook Up, The Physicists, The Madras House, The Women of Lockerbie, Songs for a New World, Batboy the Musical, and the world premieres of La Fete de Ruel, Celebrated Silence, Duryodhana, and Soldier’s Christmas. Upcoming design projects include Disenchanted, and Love, Loss, and What I Wore. Favorite management/ad-min credits include Matilda the Musical, Jersey Boys, Jesus Christ Stuperstar (Broadway); The Submission, Wild Ani-mals You Should Know, Three Sisters, Fat Camp the Musical (Off-Broadway); Mayor’s Awards for Arts and Culture (Lin-coln Center); The Who’s Tommy, Dinner at Eight (NYU). He currently serves as the Media Relations Chair on the board of the League of Cincinnati Theatres. Tyler received his BFA from New York University/Tisch School of the Arts.

She also costumed for the middle school Gates productions of Annie, Jr., and The King and I. Christine is no stranger to KRT has been involved, in many productions including Alice in Won-derland, Jr., A Country Christmas Carol, “Honk, Jr., Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, It’s A Wonderful Life, Willy Wonka Jr., All Shook Up!, The Best Little Christ-mas Pageant Ever and Addams Family the Musical. Christine would like to thank the wonderful production team as well as her amazing cast for all their hard work on this production!

Katie Bishop (Sound Design) is a sophomore at Northern Kentucky University where she is studying theatre. She is ex-cited to be returning to KRT after appearing in the ensemble of The Addams Family last summer. She has been a sound board operator for multiple shows in the past including Into the Woods, All Shook Up, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

The Production TeamJack Murphy (Technical Director) grew up in the Cincinnati area. He went to undergrad at Hanover College where studied technical theatre. While there he spent his summers at sev-eral different summer stock theatres such as Georgia Shake-speare Company and the Brevard Music Center’s Janiec Opera Company as a carpenter. After graduation he moved to Bellport, NY to work for The Gateway Playhouse as a carpen-ter and rigger. When he left Gateway, he went to work on The Pride of America, a Norwegian Cruise Line ship. After another summer at the Janiec Opera Company, he came full circle and returned home to Cincinnati. Since he has been back, he has worked at Cincinnati Shakespeare Company and River City Scenic as well as Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati.

Mikey Mills (Sound Design) Theater has become a thrill-ing, exciting part of Mikey Mills’ life in the years past and hopefully years to come! He was casted in 10 productions at Campbell County High School, inspired at a young age watching the magic of theater come to life. This is his first time participating in one of KRT’s productions and he is thrilled to become a part of it! Other than theater, Mikey is a composer, mechanical music enthusiast, and a student at NKU for music. For Mikey, the hardest thing about graduat-ing high school was giving up the theater program and says it’s truly a blessing to continue!
