“I can definitely say the MyoPro has

given me my independence back.”

Traumatic brachial plexus injuries (TBPI) are most commonly sustained in high speed mo-

tor vehicle accidents or sporting events when the

brachial plexus is excessively stretched. TBPI can

affect the sensitivity and muscle strength of the

entire hand and arm.

Qualifying for the MyoPro Motion GThe MyoPro Motion G is available only by

prescription from a doctor. A MyoPro certi-

fied occupational therapist (OT) or othotist/

prosthetist (O&P) clinician would then evaluate

the individual for the device. If the individual

qualifies, the O&P clinician will take a mold of

the hand and arm for custom fabrication of the

MyoPro. Training and support is provided by

either the OT or O&P clinician. If required, these

clinicians can also assist in navigating the

insurance process.

To get started, learn more about the MyoPro

myoelectric technology into a custom fabricated

wearable powered brace that can support and

move a partially paralyzed hand and arm. Sensors

in the brace detect weak muscle signals which

power motors to move the affected arm. The user

completely controls their arm at all times.
