Orange Line Says “Super-Size Me” Metro has debuted a gigantic new 65-foot Metro Liner demonstration bus for daily service on the Orange Line.

Just ten feet shorter than a Metro Rail subway car, the extra-long transit vehicle is a first-of-its-kind, designed exclusively for operation on the Orange Line.

It is a full five feet longer than the original Metro Liner and provides room for 66 seated passengers compared to the previous model’s 57. When fully loaded with seated and standing passengers, the new model can hold up to 100 people.

Disabled persons can get a free wheelchair wash, hair cut, manicure and massage at the 4th Annual Wheelchair Wash on Saturday, October 6. The event takes place from 10am to 5pm at the Familia Unida Offices, 4716 E Cesar E. Chavez Avenue, East LA.

Metro Orange Line aumenta su tamaño Metro ha debutado un gigantesco autobús de Metro Liner de demostración que mide 65 pies de largo para servicio diario en Metro Orange Line.

Tan solo con 10 pies menos que el tren subterráneo de Metro Rail, este vehículo de transporte extra largo es uno de los primeros en su clase, diseñado exclusivamente para ofrecer servicio en Metro Orange Line.
