Card of Thanks 1145
ZENTNER
Thank you doesn’t seem to be
enough for the overwhelming
love, support and care we
received in the tragic passing of
Faith Zentner. She was deeply
loved by many and she loved
many in return. In saying that I
m u s t a c k n o w l e d g e t h e
extraordinary individuals and
organizations that have helped
me.
On behalf of myself, my sons,
Chad & Travis and the Zentner
and Oberhammer families, I'd
like to thank the following
people and organizations for
their overwhelming support and
outpouring of condolence after
the loss of our dear FAITH;
wife, mother, grandmother,
daughter, sister, funeral director and friend to so many; Taber
EMS and R.C.M.P. for their valiant efforts and professionalism;
Evan Strong Funeral Home in Calgary for their care and
compassion; the Lethbridge Herald for their gracious obituary
services and write up; Rev. Erin Phillips and Rev. Pilar Gateman
for your helpful message to our staff and family at our private
chapel service, and to Elisha Rasmussen and Paulette De Coste for
your helping hands. Special thanks go to my grandchildren’s
mothers (Kinga & Sarah) who made a beautiful woman even more
so.
Father Roque Pereira for his kind words and Father Kevin
Tumback for his exceptional homily of Faith, Fathers’ Garry
Sedgwick, Lukas Drapal, and Newton Rodrigues, Deacons
Michael Pollard, Cliff Bogdan and Bill Young for their attendance
and participation; gift bearers Megan and Ryan Mankow and
Readers Mieke Rice, Lenore Beyer, Kinga Zentner and Sarah
Drost for their participation; to Chief Charlie Weasel Head of the
Blood Reserve and his wife Ronda for the gift of the Eagle
Feather on behalf of himself and Counsel to honour "Ahkoinimaki
- Holy Pipe Woman" to accompany her in her casket; the staff and
volunteers of St. Martha's Catholic Church (Jennifer, Jeanette,
Mark & Adele and many others who helped set up chairs and
assisted with the overflow crowds) and Southminster United
Church (Val and Dar) for their accommodation of requests and
attention to every detail in their facilities; Nicki Murray, Laurel
Van Vaerenberg, Jim Robinson, Mary Lee Voort and Andrea
Seibel for the incredible selection and beauty in the music, Trevor
Panzcak, who wrote a special song for Faith and brought
everyone to tears when he sang it, it was entitled “I Will Miss You
Till I See You Again”, as well as Tim Carter for his graveside
tribute song “We’re Here For A Good Time, Not A Long Time”.
Thanks also goes to long time friend Cindy Bester who played the
piano with her finale “What a Wonderful World” Thank you.
Chad and Travis, for your loving and meaningful tribute to your
Mom. You made her a real person!; I realize how incredibly chal-
lenging and difficult it was for you both and you made me so
proud. To our dedicated full-time Cornerstone Staff of Trish
Wallace, Doug Hazuda, Nathan Bretherick, Jill Graveland, Justin
Masnyk and Earl Ricalton for gently carrying Faith to her
services and to her final place of rest - she would have been so
proud of you all; to our many part-time Staff and friends of
Cornerstone for assisting in every and many ways for our services
and, in many circumstances, holding us up when we were down
this last week; Val Fellger and her staff at the City of Lethbridge
for providing us street parking as well as Sgt. Wade Davidson and
members of the Lethbridge Regional Police Service for their most
helpful police escort out of the downtown core for our procession;
Lethbridge Cemetery Services (Darren and staff) for providing
traffic direction at Mountain View Cemetery and Bridge Vault for
their graveside care; Prime Catering, The Lighthouse and L.A.
Chefs for their wonderful catering; Master Image for the many
"faces of Faith" photos on display, Marquis Flowers, and Panda
flowers for their personal touches to our many, many bouquets
that we and many places in the community are still enjoying; to the
Len at the Enmax centre for placing flowers on our seats for the
last number of Hurricanes games; and to Brent from Lethbridge
Audio Visual, Chris from Cogo and Darrel from DB Pro Audio for
their audiotech services. I would also like to thank and
acknowledge Bob & Mieke Rice for opening their hearts and their
home for my family, as well as to Pam at Northside Liquor for the
refreshments provided to my home.
Faith developed many deep, long lasting relationships with many
girlfriends, and in fear of missing anyone, I will not list any names.
“You know who you are.” Love you.
Finally, I'd like to thank my friend and colleague Bryan Watts for
his dedicated and talented services as our Funeral Director that
made our three events happen in such a complete, timely and
professional manner. Faith was one of his biggest fans both
professionally and as a friend and enjoyed his pride in
workmanship that she so valued in her own practice.
Thank you to our local and out of town family members and
friend s who made the journey to Faith's services and the
incredible moments of comfort since her tragic passing; your many
hugs, thoughts, prayers, phonecalls, sympathy cards, packages of
food, edible arrangements, visits to our homes and to the Funeral
Home, facebook messages and messages of condolence to our
website and the many acts of kindness have been so welcome and
appreciated. Our gratitude to Rob, Marlene and Kalila at the
Lethbridge Senior Centre who continue to provide meal comfort
each day for our staff during this busy week of work and
transition. Thank you to the many who have donated to local
charities and offered Mass intentions and enrolled Faith in various
prayers groups. Words cannot express how grateful we are and we
have been truly overwhelmed by the impact she made on people's
lives. She was an amazing woman and we will miss her.
Gratefully and sincerely,
Ralph Zentner
