Gigabit InternetWELCOME TO GIG MOUNTAIN!
FROM HI-TECH DATA, LLC.
Jasper Highlands offers giga-bit speed internet, the best internet connection of any mountaintop community in the country! Chattanooga was the first in the country to provide giga-bit speed to their residents. We’re proud to follow our neighbor’s lead in supplying the best internet connection available to property owners of Jasper Highlands. The use of fiber optics, which has virtually limitless speed capability, ensures the network will be able to handle growing broadband needs for decades to come.
GATED COMMUNITYSecure, serene, and spectacular. These three words define the lifestyle enjoyed by the families living on the mountain. Our volunteer fire department and our close relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services ensure that our property owners can explore the beautiful mountain scenery while knowing their safety is one of our top priorities.
Jasper Highlands Gated Entrance
The Jasper Highlands Volunteer Fire Department and the Jasper Highlands Development have partnered together to construct a Fire Station / Community Center inside of Inspiration Park on Jasper Highlands Boulevard.
This caps an incredible first year of operation for the JHFD that already saw the achievement of an ISO Class 4 rating obtained for the community, as well the advent of emergency medical services being offered by the JHFD. Both the ISO rating and fire department based medical assistance were the first of their kind in Marion County! The continued growth of both the fire department and the development were catalysts for expediting construction of the fire station / community center, originally planned for several years down the road. With some strategic planning and combined efforts, this $500,000 improvement is on the way.
In addition to the fire station / community center, the JHFD has delivered a wildland fire vehicle to enhance protection on the Mountain from grass and wildland fires. The JHFD will also undergo more training on wildland fire suppression as well as
offering classes to the community on prevention.
James Wessel, (Pres. of the JHFD) had this to say: The continued dedication of our volunteer firefighters and the constant support of the Developer have been the basis of our success. I am overwhelmed with gratitude that the Developer is donating the land and substantial in kind services to make this project possible!
