We are all busy and it has been a wonder- ful break to take the summer away from the hustle and bustle of Wednesday night. But I also know that sharing life together at church, and utilizing our time to fellowship and help one another grow is at the core of who we are as a congregation, what we believe about God, and how we covenant to share our faith with one another as members of Oxford Baptist Church. I am so excited for our Wednesday activities to begin again, because it means we get to share life and faith with one another. That is what this family of faith is all about, isn’t it? On Wednesday night, Sep- tember 7, and for the next 14 weeks, let’s make it a date. Let’s get together and live out our church covenant in which we promise to “exercise a Christian care and watchfulness over each other,” and “not forsake the assembling of ourselves together in the stated services of the Church.” Peace, Chris Ordination of Rob Blackwood Please join us for the celebration of our church’s ordination of Rob Blackwood on Sunday, August 28th at 3pm in the Sanctuary. Dear Oxford Baptist Church, With a grateful and humble heart, I wish to thank you for the memories of the past 16 years. Sometimes sad, sometimes happy and yes, sometimes funny. Also, but not least, with surprises. The “Love Offering” gift will last as yet another memory with a humble heart, thank you.

My prayer for each of you for abundant blessings.

We'll share in a light breakfast and introduce the Teachers, and then the children will go to their classes for some games while the parents stay for fellowship and conversation about our children's spiritual needs. Even if your child has never attended before, we'd love to see you this year as we learn to 'Shine On' for Jesus! Contact Natalie Aho at [email protected] with any questions.
