COURSE BACKGROUNDLet’s discover the fun of learning French! In this beginning French class, we will learn to discuss how to greet other and introduce yourself. Also, we will practice describing people and things. You will learn how to fill out a form, to make a date for pleasure or for work. You will know how to express your like and dislikes, vocabulary for travels and how to order at a restaurant, and much more!

A native of Paris, Francoise has traveled all over Europe and later lived in different areas of the US. Her BA and MA are from the University of Hawaii, Manoa where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa with her thesis Playing French Language: Pedagogy and Culture Through Theater. She obtained teaching credentials for the French language from Cali-fornia State University Northridge.

Francoise has taught French language and culture in universities, public schools and private language schools at all levels from pre-kindergarten to older adults..
