A love poem to our foremother(s)

We would like to address you in a more personal way,

But we honestly do not know how to express…

Your thoughts, your live(s) and what held sway,

Who you are to us is a continuous construction in progress.

It’s hard to articulate your ambitions and heights,

Not to be deaf to your multiple tongues,

Your grey tones, your lost and won fights,

And to find out where “She” belongs.

So let’s re-appropriate dichotomies and make some

NOISE!
