6.2 SHORT STORIES

Another PMR literature component is short story. In the examination, objective type questions will be based upon the given texts/ passage. The students will learn a new short story, starting from 2010, which is;

The Short Story:Step 1:Before the examination, read and understand the short story thoroughly. Take note of key elements of the short story such as the plot, setting, characters, theme, moral values, point of view, tone and mood, language and style. During the examination, go through the passage carefully to refresh your memory about the short story. Step 2:While reading the question, always refer to the passage to get the best possible answer. Step 3: Before choosing the answer, read all the options given carefully. Eliminate wrong answers. If in doubt, refer to the passage again to determine the best answer.Step 4:Always double check the answer that you have chosen. Read the question again and confirm your answer by referring to the passage.
