Since introducing the CabForms® system more than ten years ago, we’ve become expert in the specific requirements of elevator interiors and the evolving challenges these high-impact public spaces face. Panel and ceiling weights, energy efficiency, lighting, and air quality all have increasing importance in today’s buildings. Our comprehensive elevator program accommodates a wide range of field conditions without sacrificing ease of specification, installation, maintenance, or breadth of material choices. ELEVATOR INTERIORS draw on our full surfaces line-up and provide countless options for meeting diverse aesthetic, performance and budgetary requirements. ELEVATOR CEILINGS are exceptionally lightweight, easy to install, and incorporate many of the same materials and finishes as our elevator wall panels. ELEVATOR HANDRAILS beautifully complement our elevator interiors. Six standard designs can be specified for elevator back walls and/or side walls. ELEVATOR DOORS are the perfect way to carry a design theme from the elevator interior to the lobby and beyond.

Elevator interiors are subject to more scrutiny, captive attention and potential abuse than any other public space. With this in mind we’ve developed our interior systems to provide a wide array of options that meet diverse aesthetic, performance and budgetary requirements.Ideal for new or modernization projects, our elevator interiors draw on our full surfaces line-up and make it easy to carry design, material and pattern themes throughout a space. LEVELe™ interiors are comprised of lightweight wall panels and an interlocking grid system that simplifies installation and maintenance. CabForms® Series 1000 and 2000 expand the range of design and performance options.

CabForms Series 1000-A, B, CCabForms® Series 1000 is a rugged Stainless Steel system optimized for airports, educational institutions, parking structures and other high-traffic public areas.

Each panel of the 1000-A is a single piece of Stainless Steel in a standard finish and pattern. Series’ 1000-B and C provide two widths of accent panels in Stainless Steel or Fused Metal™ that form a horizontal band around the cab.

Designers’ recommendation: use two materials for walls of Series 1000-B and 1000-C interiors – Stainless Steel for the main panels and Fused Metal for the accent panels.

Ceiling materials and lighting make all the difference in the experience of a space. Often an afterthought in elevator interiors, now there’s something new: an elevator ceiling that is intelligently designed, well-priced, and visually aligned with the rest of the interior.

Our ceilings move beyond generic options and bring a whole new world of material and lighting possibilities to elevator interiors. Based upon a framework of interlocking extrusions, our ceilings are exceptionally lightweight, easy to install, and accommodate many of the same materials and finishes as LEVELe™ and CabForms® panels. They can be ordered with energy-efficient LED perimeter lighting, halogen or LED downlighting—or both. Addressing a wide array of functional and aesthetic concerns, Forms+Surfaces ceilings are the performance solution for elevator interiors.

Elevator handrails are designed to complement all LEVELe™ and CabForms® Elevator Interiors.Optional handrails may be specified for elevator back walls and/or side walls. Six standard series offer a range of visual possibilities: Compass™, Quadrant™, Sextant™, Modular, Rectangular and Tubular handrails are available in Stainless Steel or Bronze with a choice of satin, polished or stippled finishes (oil-rubbed bronze and black Santoprene® are also options on some models). Materials and finishes within the Compass, Quadrant and Sextant series can be mixed or matched on rails and standoffs to create either uniform or contrasting effects. Coordinating Forms+Surfaces door pulls ensure design continuity throughout a project.

The scale and quality of a space define our experiences within that space. As we move from the openness of a building’s entrance to its more private interior settings, the elevator lobby represents a transition zone whose shift in scale and function mirrors the shift from public to private places.Elevator doors provide access form the lobby to the elevator interior and vice versa. They reflect the ambience of each setting and are an ideal way to carry a design theme from the interior to the lobby and beyond. Included within this group are door skins for elevator car doors and hoistway doors. Both draw on our extensive palette of options and may be specified in a wide range of materials, finishes and patterns to meet the aesthetic and performance needs of any environment.
