    The objective of the gae is to aeuver your two-car tea to the CostructorsChapioship, by scorig the ost poits durig a predeteried uberof races.

    The cars chage positio i relatioship to each other (o track is ecessary).Cars are aeuvered by playig cards. Each card directly affects oe or twocarsthough ot ecessarily yourseither by ovig the forward or back-ward i positio.

    HOw tO winBefore begiig the rst rce, the plyers should decide how my rces theywish to ru for their seaso. Three races ca be copleted i about a hourad is a good startig poit.

    A player scores poits for of his cars i the tp six positios. Ucotrolledteas also score poits (ad ca wi the gae). Update the overall chapio-ship stadigs by addig the poits eared i the curret race to the total poitseared previously for each player (or ucotrolled tea).

    At the ed of the last race of the seaso, the tea with the ost total poits isthe wier. If tied, the the wier is the tea tied for ost total poits whichcotrolled the higher-plcig cr i the l rce.

    HOw tO set UP1. Each player selects a tea of two cars of the sae color ad is assiged thepit crew card of the correspodig color. If there are oly three players, eachplayer selects two teas. The cars are used to keep track of car positios dur-ig the race. All twelve cars are used i every race regardless of the uberof plyers ivolved. With four or ve plyers the remiig colors represetucotrolled teas participatig i the race.

    2. Oe player takes all of the tea pit crew cards ito his had ad draws therdomly. The crs of the rst color he drws strt i rst d twelfth plce; thecrs of the secod color strt i secod d eleveth plce; d so o. The crs ofthe last color draw start i sixth ad seveth place. (A optioal foldig tracksectio is provided for placig cars.) The, place the tea pit crew cards i frotof their players to reid everyoe which color(s) represet which players.

    HOw tO PlAy

    The plyer whose cr is i the pole positio (rst plce) tkes the rst tur of thegae. Whe his tur is coplete, play proceeds clockwise aroud the table.

    Each player i his tur ust play oe actio card face up oto a Discard Pile extto the Draw Pile. The player who plays the actio card is the oe who chooseswhich car it effects (withi the liits of the card chose). After resolvig theeffects of the actio card, the player draws oe actio card fro the Draw Pilefor his had. A player ust play a actio card ad draw a actio card durighis tur eve if all of his cars are out of the race.

    Play cotiues util the last actio card is draw. Each player the gets oe

    ore tur to play a actio card (without drawig a replaceet card). Thus,the race eds whe each player has four actio cards reaiig i his had.

    eFFeCts OF tHe ACtiOn CARds

    Most ctio crds ffect the positio of crs i the rce; some remove crs com-pletely! Because of the costat oveet (ad reoval) of the cars durig arace, gaps will appear i the lie. These gaps should be closed to keep the lie

    lookig eat ad tidy. Cars that are out of the race are set aside i a separate lie,with the rst crs kocked out plced t the ed of the lie, while crs removedlater are added to the frot of the lie. At the ed of the race, the reoved carsish i this order, comig fter ll the crs tht re still ruig.

    Here are the procedures to follow with each card [the uber i parethesesshows the uber of each card type icluded i the deck]:

    Overtake +2 [6], Overtake +3 [12], Overtake +4 [6].Choose oe car of the ap-propriate color AnD the car directly behid it (iits slipstrea), ad ove the forward the uberof places idicated. Therefore, uless you are ov-ig the last place car, two cars will always ovewhe you play a Overtake card. If the chose car

    reches rst plce, igore y dditiol plces it would hve gied. Youmy select the cr i rst plce whe you ply Overtakecard, i whichcase o oveet would take place. If both cars of the idicated color are

    out of the race, the card has o effect.

    Pit stOP [8]. Choose OnEcar of the idicated color ad roll the die:

    Roll: Effect:1-6 The chose car oves back the uber of places equal

    to the die roll. If the car reaches last place, igore ayadditioal places it would have lost.

    7-12 The chose car does ot pit ad reais i its curret positio.

    If both cars of the idicated color are out of the race, the card has o effect.If the card is a beige Pit StOPcard, the player ca choose anYcar.

    Charge (LOse gears) [3] ad Charge (engine bLOWs) [3]. Choose anYcar ad roll the die:

    Roll: Effect:1-9 The chose car (aloe) oves forward oe place.10-12 If the card is Charge (LOSe gearS), the chose car oves

    to last place.If the card is Charge (engine BLOwS), the chose car has

    blow its egie ad is out of the race! Set it aside.

    If the player chose a car of his ow tea, he ay cotiue to roll the die ad

    ove forward the sae car agai. He ca stop at ay tie after rollig atleast oce. He mUST stop whe rollig a 10-12. If the player selects the carof a differet tea, he ay oly roll the die oce.

    sPin Out [1] r sPin Last [1]. The player rolls the die to deteriewhich car is affected. The uber is the place of the car which isffected by the spi. If the plyer does ot like the result of the rstdie roll, he ay re-roll the die oce. If the player chooses to re-roll,

    the result of the re-roll ust be accepted ad deteries the carwhich has spu. He ay ot switch to the result of the origialroll if he dislikes the re-roll.

    The spu car is out of the race, ifSPinOut was played, or is placedi last place, ifSPin LaSt was played. It is possible for the player to kockout oe of his ow cars whe playig this card. If the positio rolled is oti the race due to other cars previously havig bee kocked out of the race,the the card has o effect.

    Crash [1]. The player rolls the die to deterie which car is affected. The u-ber is the place of the car which has crashed. This car is out of the race. Iadditio, the car iediately i frot of or behid the car which crashed is

    also kocked out of the race by the crash. The player who played thecrd selects which other cr is ivolved (uless the rst or lst plcecrashed, i which case the player ust choose the car behid or ifrot of the crashed car, respectively). Both cars ivolved i the crashre plced i the frot of the lie of removed crs, ishig the rce i

    the sae relative positio to each other that they were prior to the crash.

    It is possible for the player to kock out oe or two (!) of his ow cars wheplayig this card. If the positio rolled is ot i the race due to other carspreviously havig bee kocked out of the race, the card has o effect.
