Dear customers and clients, dear reader,
Welcome to our Formulation booklet. With this collection, we want to make our lab work more visible. Our formulation lab has been developing new concepts for many years now in order to inspire our customers with surprising textures, trendy applications and innovative formulations not commonly found in the market. This multi-facetted compilation mainly contains formulations with a focus on natural raw materials. Whenever necessary, we complement the selection of ingredients with functional materials that are required for best performance. Throughout the booklet, you will only ind very mild preservatives or many concepts in which alternative methods of preservation are used. A large number of ingredients are palm-free and all our palm-derived raw materials are always available as RSPO MB grade. With these and other features of our formulations, we want to encourage you to make your products greener, milder and more sustainable.
We offer a growing number of state-of-the-art formulations that are designed to generate new ideas and provide support, particularly in the increasingly shorter cycles of new product development. With our formulations and prototypes, we wish to assist our customers in shortening the time to market for their own new formulations. All mothers are familiar with erythema in babies: in the irst few years, infants need special skin care as part of nappy changing. Baby nappy cream soothes irritations in babies‘ delicate skin and prevents recurring rashes.
The protective W/O formula containing SOFTIGEN®PURA as an alternative to petrolatum offers good skin protection, and SOFTISAN® 649 as a deposition aid for zinc oxide, fulil all requirements for making babies‘ skin smooth again.

With our formulation, we offer the basis for a product that takes environmental as-pects into account and, at the same time, ensures hygiene and protection for hands.
SOFTIGEN® 767 is a popular mild cleansing agent with excellent refatting cha-racteristics, and IMWITOR® PG4 Cocoate acts in synergy with other surface active agents to improve the cleansing properties.
Ethanol provides a refreshing effect and natural preservation of the product, no further preservatives are needed.

SOFTISAN® GC8 is a multifunctional ingredient offering preservative boosting properties linked to good emolliency. SOFTISAN® PG2 C10 has an-timicrobial activity against Corynebacteria and exhibits a distinctive deodorising effect.

The dryer the skin, the richer the cream!
A good moisturizing cream for the face or body certainly can provide adequate skin care if the skin is not damaged. However, as soon as the skin is irritated, hands need special protection. A suitable cream should protect the epidermis with a fat ilm to prevent the skin from dehydrating and have nourishing properties.
The combination of IMWITOR® 372 P with IMWITOR® 900 K and Cetearyl Alcohol lends the richness to the formulation. SOFTISAN® conditionHAIR, MIGLYOL® Coco 810 and MIGLYOL® T-C7 give a light, nourishing, smooth and velvety skin feel.
