Electoral Councillor of Mexico’s National Electoral Institute(INE). He has been professor and researcher at the Division ofPolitical Studies of the Center for Research and Teaching inEconomics (CIDE). Nacif is member of Mexico’s NationalSystem of Researchers (SNI), and author of several works. Heserved as Local Citizen Councillor (2005) and District CitizenCouncillor (2000 – 2003) for the then Federal ElectoralInstitute (IFE), for which he was elected as Electoral Councillor,in 2008, by the Chamber of Representatives.
