What is the freespace tool:Introduction

- allows to calculate the free volume of an assembly

Taking count of the elements inside!

Process:Introduction

- You need a closed volume!

New part in the assembly no need to modify the model

Launch Calculation:Introduction

Generate a CGR of the free space of the assembly

- So that we just have to measure the volume of this freespace

Note that you can save the CGR in in SmarTeam but it won’t be associative

Accuracy:Introduction

- The volume calculated is approximate but you can control the accuracy

- The volume calculated is always smaller than the real one

- Test realised on a tube 30m diameter/40m long:Calculated volume = 99.3% of real volume, calculated in 1min 30s

- An FAQ is available now, explaining the whole process
