There are more and more residents, and as a result, functioning in many simple life situations becomes more difficult. People are short of time for everything, they lose health more and more quickly. Financing Startups – What Pays Off for Young Projects?
Young inventors and startups’ creators know that although the company’s development depends only on their skills, entering the global arena often involves finding an investor. There are more and more companies, funds or technology incubators that are raising funds and investing in growing startups, which in the future are supposed to bring a proper return of incurred costs and large profits. What do young inventors need most? Is money enough to grow, or maybe another kind of help is much more important? What are the chances of startups that will not benefit from such help and whether it is even possible to achieve big success without a powerful patron?

Polish Startup Ecosystem – Opportunities and Threats
The better our startup ecosystem is designed, the better the chance for the first Polish unicorn. There is no shortage of designs in the world: from Tel Aviv to Tallinn. Startups can become a pillar of an innovative economy, but they need a network of research institutes, governmental (and not only) support institutions, venture capital investors around them. Can we achieve optimal proportions? What do our startup entrepreneurs need and what can the Polish ecosystem give it to them?

Innovative economy as the key to success on the global market
Innovation is extremely important for the economic development of each country, and the best way to implement it is gradual modernization, implemented systematically and on a massive scale. The use of innovative solutions already proven in the world in enterprises is associated with lower business risk, lower costs and shorter implementation time, and reduces the distance to the best, helping to succeed on the local market, but does not give a competitive advantage on the global market. What actions should be taken by enterprises that want to conquer the global market? Is it possible to achieve this goal, for example by implementing original scientific results into practice?

At what stage of development of these technologies is the world and Poland? What will the world of anno domini 2050 look like? Autonomous Vehicles – When and How?Self-driving cars are gradually becoming part of our reality. They are no longer just a fantasy of Hollywood films scriptwriters, nor are they the nightmares of drivers who don’t always remember about the handbrake. Initially, they appeared in our consciousness thanks to articles about groundbreaking inventions, but still too distant and unbelievable to care too much about them. After just a few years, the first autonomous vehicles are already on the streets of the United States, Norway or Germany. In Poland or the Czech republic, technical and legal preparations are underway to bring innovative transport solutions to life. How to create a driverless vehicles? What are its advantages and disadvantages? Is it possible that autonomous cars will completely replace cars driven by people?

Innovations in medicine are becoming an increasingly important part of not only science but also the economy. It is a matter of time when investing in this area will absorb much more resources than today. To effectively fight civilization or rare diseases, we need to look for causes already in genomes and genetic chains, but also to improve the quality, effectiveness and accessibility of medical services. The Open Innovation Network is an EU project in which we create and support transactions of technology transfer to small and medium-sized enterprises in Po-land. We subsidize the purchase of innovative solutions that can be donated by entities from around the world.
We offer grants for consultancy services, under which entrepreneurs receive sub-stantive support and assistance in the preparation of technology transfer transac-tions and the implementation of an innovative solution.
Technology transfer grants allow you to partially reimburse the purchase of a li-cense, patent or know-how for a solution that makes entrepreneurs more compe-titive and increase their productivity.
