What information you’ll need:
1. LOCATION of the spill (building # is best, intersection is okay, unit information isn’t enough)
2. MATERIAL SPILLED JP-8, gasoline, batteries
3. WHERE where the spill is coming from (tank, vehicle, container, etc.)
4. WHERE the spill is going (pooling on concrete, dirt, running down the ditch)
5. NOTE any fumes, gasses, odors, (don’t go closer to sniff!)
5. CONDITIONS (raining, on a slope, within a creek)
6. CONTACT information – name and phone number
