Viewing daily & weekend Masses!

Even though we have moved back into Phase 2 of the quarantine lift, please note that Father Harrington is still live streaming the daily masses at the regularly scheduled times of Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. and Wednesday through Friday at 7:00 a.m., and the weekend Mass at 9:00 a.m. Sunday on Facebook Live to view live or at your convenience. Once the Mass has been recorded, Father Harrington will insert a link on our church website (olpscoteau.com) for you and your family to view at your convenience. Please refer to our Website and Facebook page for all other information you may need. As notifications are sent to us from Bishop Deshotel we will then inform our parish family of all events. In accordance with the governor’s orders to move into phase 3, we will still continue to have our 5:30 p.m. Mass on Saturday afternoon. The dispensation for attendance to Holy Mass is still in affect.

Thank you to all our lectors who already participate in this ministry. We are asking for more lectors to sign up, because there are only 4 lectors per Mass and with the extra Mass on Saturday, there is a dire need for more lectors. So if this is something you would enjoy doing please pray about it and call the office to be put on the schedule to help with this ministry.

God’s Little Housekeepers Every year our church saves a huge amount of money by having families or friends give a couple of hours about 3 times a year by cleaning our church. We will be adding new names of individuals to redo the schedules for 2021. Thanks to Mr. Roland Derouen’s Come Lord Jesus Group for signing up this week. Do you have a group of friends that might

want to add to our ministry of God’s Little Housekeepers? We will remake the schedule when we return after the holiday break. If you feel you may be called to this ministry, please call the church office and leave a message to add your name to this new schedule.

Our next Family Sunday for grades Kindergarten through 10th grade will be held on January 3rd. The class will begin with Mass at 11:00 a.m. followed by our guest

speaker for the month immediately after Mass. Our Kindergarten through 6th grades will go to the parish life center for their lesson after Mass while our 7th through 10th graders will stay in church for the speaker as the second part of their class. Our speaker will be our very own Reed Bellingham, Seminarian.
