Parish Mission Statement: Led by the Spirit to live the Gospel, our mission is
to be a welcoming Catholic Christian community,
gathered around the Eucharist, committed to
life-long faith formation, justice and loving
service to others.

FATHER MARTY’S CORNER I hope that you are receiving the daily Gospel
reflection that we have been sending via email to
our parishioner list. If not, please contact the parish
office.
We are in the process of sanitizing all of our school
buildings, the parish center and the church. After
the school and parish center are finished they will
be closed to any activities until we have a better
understanding of the scope of this outbreak. Since
our church is open for daily prayer, our maintenance
staff will regularly be sanitizing the door handles and
the washrooms. The pews, that have all been
washed in the past few days, will be cleaned
again but it is impossible to do that every day.
Let’s continue to pray for all who have been
infected, for medical personnel who care for them
and for the segments of our population that might
be particularly susceptible to the effects of this virus.
Let’s also pray for the common sense to take care
of ourselves and those around us.
-Father Marty REST IN PEACE

In this sad world of ours, sorrow comes to all,
And it often comes with bitter agony.
Perfect relief is not possible, except with time.
You cannot now believe that you will ever feel better.
But this is true.
You are sure to be happy again.
Knowing this, truly believing it, will make you less miserable now.
I have has enough experience to make this statement.

Dear God,
In this time of uncertainty and fear, help us be love, mercy, and peace for ourselves and for others as we
face coronavirus in the Unites States and around the world.
Help us hold close in our hearts those who have died, and their loved ones who mourn them.
Those who are sick or are trying to seek medical care.
Those who don’t have paid sick leave, benefits, or job security.
Those whose schools have closed and don’t have access to food, safe homes, or technology.
Those can’t travel to be with loved ones who are ill or dying.
Those who are facing discrimination and harassment because of their ethnicity.
Those who are struggling with loneliness during this time of social isolation.
Those who are frightened and losing hope.
Help us find joy, however small it seems.
Help us remain hopeful.
Help us remember that “All shall be well, for there is a force of love moving through the universe that holds
us fast and will never let us go.”
Amen
