•Along with the rapid growth of LCD production capacity

in China, FPD industry in China has become the backbone of the world’s flat panel industry. By the end of 2012, LCD production

capacity in China will increase to 18% of the world’s total, while the investment in AMOLED panel is strong as well.

•It is predicted that the year of 2012 will witness the demand

for 55 million pieces of flat-panel TVs in China, accounting for 22% of the world’s demand, and China will

become the world’s largest flat-panel TV market. (Source: SEMI China Q1/2012)

•It is predicted that the year of 2012 will witness a demand for about 310 million pieces of mobile phones in China,

increased by about 14% on a YoY basis; the demand for about 137 million pieces of smart phones, increased by around 85% on a YoY basis; the demand for mobile phone in China accounts for around 17% of the world’s total, and China will become one

•It is predicted that the global output value of the touch screen

will be up to USD 16 billion, and China is one of the major production bases for capacitive screen in 2012.

•In the “12th Five-Year Plan (2011-2015)” promulgated

by the Chinese government in 2012, the FPD industry is still listed as the priority for strategic development,

and it is clearly proposed to promote the development and industrialization of the full-size OLED, and emphasize the active R&D of new technologies and new products like touch screen,

Flat Panel Display Enters Chinese Era

SEMI collaborates with SID again to successfully hold China FPD Conference 2012 in conjunction with FPD China 2012, which attracted nearly 40 lecturers from both home and abroad to provide a world-class conference integrating market trend and technical innovation to more than 600 insiders. The next session of conference will continue to bring you the internationally famous speakers and hot technology information of the year.

Three theme pavilions are specially established in FPD China 2013——OLED, Touch Screen and Next Display Technologies, which take you into the hot areas nowadays.

• OLED Pavilion: as the new-generation display product, OLED has entered into its outbreak since 2011, while 2012 witnessed the birth of large-size AMOLED TV. FPD industry in China has become the backbone of the world’s flat panel industry, while the new display area is strong as well. OLED becomes a new hot spot for China’s future investment.

• Touch Screen Pavilion: since 2009, the output value of touch screen has increased at an annual growth rate of 60% on average. The touch control products have been increasingly used into the display area from large, medium to small size. China has become one of the major production sites for touch screen worldwide.

• Next Display Pavilion: exhibit the forward-looking display technology and application products in the world, including 3D, human-machine interaction, desktop display integration, flexible display, etc. The integrated marketing communication programs create the full range strategies for you to enter into the Chinese market.

Booth Cost

9-sqm decorated booth includes exhibition walls (at both sides and the back), a locker, two leather chairs, a trash bin, carpet, a power socket, two spotlights, name board of the exhibitor, labors for construction and removal.

Raw space includes only exhibition hall space without any other facilities.

Please send a 20% deposit along with booth application, and pay the rest 80% before August 13, 2012. SEMI will not confirm the booth applied until receiving enough deposit and completed application forms.
