The flame propagation in textile fabric is inversely proportional to its mass, therefore there are many fabrics that even without flame retardant treatment, pass the Cigarette Test (Ignition Source 0) and do not burn in the presence of the cigarette.The fabrics shown below pass the test BS 5852: 2006 when the ignition source is the cigarette (Source 0):
