Gratitude for Your Effort
The Parish of Corpus Christi would like to offer sincere Thanks to the coordinators of today’s May Crowning. We thank all who participated; the individuals in Traditional Polish dress, the children who wore their First Communion outfits, our Music Director, Coffee Sunday volunteers and to those who brought in that tasty morsel. This is a special event that appeals to everyone in our Parish. You make it special, your work really shows. Thank you again. Thanks also to those who are maintaining the beautiful Flowers Easter Flowers and returning the Tomb and Figures back in to their storage area.

Father Mariusz
Father Mariusz will be out of town May 5th, through May 9th. The office will have regular business hours.
Sacred Sites Corpus Christi will participate in the National Sacred Sites Open House. Experience the beauty and history of Buffalo’s Polish Community, here at Corpus Christi. Our Church is listed on the National and State Historic Register of Historic Sites. Our Church will be open Saturday, May 17th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, May 18th, from 12:30 until 2:30 p.m.
Dozynki Planning has begun for the 2014 Dozynki. We are looking for a special individual to be the chairperson. If you think you are interested call the office. But, even if you have some suggestions or input they are always welcome. So don’t fester, share your ideas and recommendations. You can call the office, come to the next meeting on May 13th, or when you see someone who you know is involved with the festival, talk to them. It’s just another way to help the parish.
Bingo Corpus Christi runs Bingo from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturdays. We can always use players! If you have one Saturday afternoon available to volunteer at Bingo, we can always use that kind of assistance.
Catholic Charities Knowledge is power. The work force development program which is part of Catholic Charities offers education and work readiness services to youth ages 18-24. With your support, many young people will be able to find the path to success and work toward a bright future. Please give to Catholic Charities
Arts Access If you participate in the federal food stamp program (SNAP) you and your family could be eligible for free access to over 30 arts and cultural organizations through the Arts Access program. To sign up, check out the web site at arts-access.org from your computer or at any library. If you don’t participate in the food stamps program, no problem. Immaculate Heart of Mary Buffalo Homeschool and Parent Conference
The Immaculate Heart of Mary Buffalo Homeschool and Parent Conference will be held at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center, 153 Franklin Street, in Buffalo, on Friday, May 30th (Noon-8:00 p.m.) The confirmed speakers include: Fr.
