• Be sure that child has a study routine.– A quiet place to study without distractions– A set time to study (before dinner, after dinner, from ? till ?)
• Be curious about what he/she is learning – Ask to see child’s work; ask child to explain to you what he/she is
learning
• Be positive about child’s progress. – Words of praise go a long way (even for teenagers)– If child needs extra motivation, set up a positive reward system.

Class Information• Tutoring: If student does not get a B or above on a quiz, he/she must retake the quiz. If a B grade cannot be earned with individual study, tutoring sessions must be scheduled.
• Students must finish the 1st semester with an A or B average in order to continue AP French the 2nd semester.
