marks of our TINT WORLD® Center. By striving for these conditions, we are able to excel in merchandising displays and presenting window tinting and automotive styling services.

Atmosphere: What we specifically wish to avoid is the impersonal, assembly line, it-all-looks the-same approach. Our customers are mostly repeat business therefore our employees and our customers become acquainted with each other, which re-sults in extra personal service that customers appreciate. We feel that our wide selection of diverse products and services selection coupled with this type of personal approach from the staff, and strengthened by our comfortable and well merchandised decor, is a winning combination. Ambiance and image is just as important as location.

Attitude: Window tinting and automotive accessories can be found elsewhere, but

highly skilled managers, technicians, installers and detailers along with a neat centering experience must be created from within.

Customers: The „muscle car man on a mission‟, the ‟soccer mom‟, the „executive driver with an exotic car‟, the „teenager with his/her first car‟, the „gal who just wanted to stop by‟ are our clientele. Each expects the enjoyable centering ex-perience that we are known to deliver, a cool specialized experience with a comfortable ambiance. Our Business to Business customer include local business owners wanting their service vehicles wrapped with their marketing brand & message, car dealer accounts, auto tire and repair shops, paint & body shops, hotels & casi-nos, fleet accounts and many more.

Special Events: We want to capitalize on every opportunity to market the TINT WORLD® experience. One of the largest events in most local markets is the Interna-tional Automotive Trade Show, whose theme varies each year. We promote the support of local car shows and automotive related events that usually oc-curs in mid-Spring and or mid-fall each year. Driving enthusiasts attend the event and tour the various vendors. TINT WORLD® encourages setting up a booth that recreates the ambience of a TINT WORLD® Center. TINT WORLD® also participates in many non-profit and local business or-ganizations and activities, by donating gift certificates and items to auctions and as awards. [Please check with your local Chamber of Commerce to ac-quire the dates for local festivals, exhibitions and events in your area.]

Throughout the year, TINT WORLD® decorates to celebrate the holidays, including simple costumes on Halloween and elaborate holiday exterior and interior decorations during the Christmas and Chanukah seasons. The holi-days are numerous and an excellent vehicle for continually changing the dé-cor. Decorating suggestions for franchisees will be communicated via memo-randum on a timely and ad deadline-conscious basis.

Franchise FAQ‟s

Q: Once I have been accepted as a franchisee, how long will the process take?

A: After you‟ve been accepted as a TINT WORLD® franchisee, we will prepare a timeline with you covering from start to finish. Site approval, lease negotiations, training, financing, and renovation are often the primary time consuming factors. Once your site has been ap-proved and lease negotiations are concluded, the remodeling time for your center typically takes between 30-90 days. We usually scheduled your new owner training approximately one month prior to the opening of your center to allow you to move right into pre-opening prepa-rations; including the hiring and training of additional staff for your center.

Q: Do you help with site selection?

A: We will assist you in the site selection process by providing current information on sites available in your area and assist you with any lease negotiations. We must approve the pro-posed site prior to the development of any site. We also provide a Pre-Opening Manuel de-signed to assist you with your site selection process.

Q: How does TINT WORLD® evaluate a new center location?

A. We analyze information from various sources for traffic count, registered vehicles, popula-tion, growth trends, competitive factors, zoning, retail shopping patterns and other appropri-ate factors.

Q: How big of a space will I need?

A: This will depend upon the type of unit being pursued. The range of center sizes varies throughout our network from a single bay to a four bay center. With today‟s business model our recommendation for new centers is to have an office/showroom area with two to four bays with a total space of 2000 sq ft. to 3000 sq ft. However, we will evaluate each market op-portunity on a case by case basis to determine the right fit for expected service demands. In many cases, our franchisees lease existing facilities that are remodeled to meet our specifica-tion. A member of our Franchise Development Team will assist you in such efforts.

Q: Do I receive guidance on purchasing products and supplies?

A: Yes. Top quality products and services are crucial to our concept. Some products are pro-prietary to us and have been specified with our distribution. Using our collective buying power, our Purchasing Coordinator will provide you with a full purchasing and distribution program that will enable you to order top quality products at or below competitive pricing.

Q. Who is responsible for marketing and advertising?

A: TINT WORLD® provides all of the marketing materials you will need and is responsible for all National advertising and point-of-purchase materials, etc. Franchise owners are respon-sible for developing the business locally through a variety of in-store and community-based promotions and activities.

Q. Can a franchisee have multiple locations?

A: Yes. This is initially determined by the corporate office, depending on the market area.

Q: What sort of training and support can I expect?

A: Franchisees and their designated managers must attend and successfully complete the new owner training program. This begins with a self-study program combined with in-center train-ing experience designed to help orient you to our systems and to help us understand your indi-vidual needs. TINT WORLD® new owner training is held at our corporate office in Boca Raton, Florida and consists of a three week (18-day) course of hands-on and practical every-day experiences. Our team of professionals will provide training in various aspects of manag-ing your TINT WORLD® franchise that will help you become a successful franchisee. We do not charge extra for the training and all materials are provided. Travel expenses, hotel accom-modations, and employee compensation are your responsibility and are included in your esti-mated start up cost.

Q: Does TINT WORLD® provide assistance in the hiring process and benefits for center employees?

A: Each franchisee is responsible for hiring, managing, training and employee benefits. We offer instructions and assistance that will prepare you to handle this during the new franchisee training program. You will receive information about employment practices, compensation plans and guidance about staffing levels, employee training opportunities and management strategies. We also provide you with a hard copy and DVD of a customizable Employee Man-ual.

Q: Do I receive assistance in opening my center?

A: Yes. In addition to our initial headquarter training we also assist you with the initial open-ing of your center. You will have an experienced member of our Operations Team work with you and your staff before, during, and after your center opening. Ongoing training and sup-port is also provided for your continued success.

Q: What do I do after my application has been approved?

A. After your Personal Profile Form application has been completed, received and approved, the next step is for you to arrange a Discovery Day tour at TINT WORLD® Corporate Headquarter Offices in Boca Raton, Florida.

Q: Is financing available?

A: TINT WORLD® is approved by the U.S. Small Business Administration SBA Franchise Registry for government lending programs available through various banks and leasing com-panies. TINT WORLD® does not finance its franchisees directly, but does provide financing contacts.

Franchise Program Specifics

Investment: The investment required to set-up and open a new Tint World center varies depending on the size and location. The liquid capital required is $40.000. The total investment for a single unit franchise ranges from $95,000 to $135,000.

Franchise License Fee*:

$ 30,000 each Individual Franchise. (Standard Fee)

$ 25,000 each for 2 Franchises purchased simultaneously.

$ 20,000 each for 3 Franchisees purchased simultaneously.

$ 20,000 each for qualified Conversion or Express centers.

$ 10,000 each for adding Residential & Commercial Flat Glass Territory Fee

Incentives: Tint World offers incentives for the conversion of existing independent window tinting, auto accessory centers

and express co-branding of existing centers.

Financing: Tint World is approved by the U.S. Small Business Administration SBA Franchise Registry. Tint World will assist you in providing you lenders and obtaining financing.

Royalty: The royalty is 6% of gross revenue.

Advertising: We provide you with advertising materials and assistance to help promote your Tint World franchise center. Tint World may initiate a National Advertising Fund to assist in group marketing.

Protected Territory:

We provide you with territory protection from another Tint World center.

Site Selection:

New markets must be approved for development by Tint World.

Tint World will evaluate key information such as traffic count, population growth, zoning and retail shopping patterns to determine the viability of development.

Tint World will evaluate the potential effect that new development will have on existing Tint World centers.

Market Size:

Tint World will consider markets with a trading area of 25,000 or more registered vehicles.

Each market requires a feasibility analysis, which is heavily dependent on actual vehicle population.

Size of Center:

We recommend 2000 to 3000 sq. feet of space with two to three service bays.

We also consider centers with larger sq. footage and service bay capacity.

Training Requirements:

You must successfully complete the new franchise owner training program.

New franchise training includes three weeks (18 days) at the Tint World Training Center in Boca Raton, FL.

Our team of professionals will provide you with a combined classroom, in-center and service bay training in various aspects of managing your Tint World franchise.

Steps Necessary:

Speak with a “Tint World Representative” about your preferred development location.

Complete and return the “Personal Profile Form” (PPF).

Attend “Discovery Day” at Tint World‟s corporate office.

Review the franchise documentation.

Receive franchise license approval and sign the “Franchise Agreement”.

Secure you site location.

Complete the “New Franchisee Training” program.

Open your new Tint World center for success...
