We see the Universal Pictures Logo appear on screen. The
words that spell Universal dissolve leaving only the world.
The world turns to the color of white. We are now staring at
a FULL MOON. We pan down from the full moon and end up in...
1 EXT. BLACKMOOR, ENGLAND- GRAVEYARD- MIDNIGHT: 1896
It is raining heavily outside. We can see lightening strike,
which is the only good light we see. We see in front of us
an engraved stone that says "Here Lie the Dead of
Blackmoor." We see two men pass by the engraved stone.
DANIEL
Hey Jack! How much further is the
tomb?
JACK
Not that much more.
Jack finds the engraved stone.
JACK
Daniel! Give me the lantern!
Daniel hands Jack the lantern. Jack puts the lantern in
front of the stone and reads it.
JACK (cont’d)
Here lies the dead of Blackmoor.
Jack turn to Daniel.
JACK (cont’d)
We’re close. We’re real close.
The two move further through the graveyard. The two finally
reach a huge stone tomb. On top of the tomb is inscribed,
TALBOT.
JACK (cont’d)
This is it.
Jack gets out a pick ax and starts to hammer the door of the
tomb with it. The door finally breaks. He hands the ax back
to Daniel. Jack goes inside the tomb. Daniel follows.
2.
2 INT. GRAVEYARD- TALBOT FAMILY TOMB
The two grave robbers look around the tomb.
DANIEL
This is gigantic.
JACK
Yes it is.
DANIEL
This family must have been rich.
Look at the size of this tomb. It
seems like every single family
member is in here.
JACK
So it seems.
The two look around.
DANIEL
John Talbot. Heard he got burned
and then decapitated by some wild
animal. Gypsies probably.
JACK
Ha yeah most likely.
DANIEL
Who are we looking for exactly?
JACK
Lawrence Stewart Talbot.
DANIEL
Oh.
Daniel looks to his right and points.
DANIEL (cont’d)
Isn’t it that one there.
JACK
Where?
Jack turns around and lays his eyes onto a Solid Silver
Coffin.
A smiles crawls across Jack’s face.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: (2) 3.
JACK (cont’d)
Yep. This one’s it.
Jack looks down and sees an engraved message on the tomb.
JACK (cont’d)
Lawrence Stewart Talbot who died at
the Youthful Age of Thirty One.
R.I.P.
Jack turns to Daniel
JACK (cont’d)
Give me the chisel.
Daniel hands Jack the Chisel. We hear a loud crack and the
coffin is unlocked. Jack and Daniel open the coffin. The two
look down.
DANIEL
What is that?
Jack reaches down and pulls out a couple of branches.
JACK
Wolfbane.
DANIEL
Wolfbane?
JACK
Yeah.
DANIEL
Why is there Wolfbane in here?
JACK
Well, there is an old gypsy poem
that goes, even a man who is pure
at heart and says his prayers by
night, may become a wolf when the
wolfbane blooms and the autumn moon
is bright.
DANIEL
What you don’t think our friend
here is a-? A-
JACK
A Werewolf?
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: (3) 4.
DANIEL
Yeah.
JACK
No. I doubt it.
We see moonlight start to creep in through the window and it
hits the coffin holding Lawrence Talbot. We suddenly start
to see his hand move.
JACK (cont’d)
Anyway, where were we?
DANIEL
The ring on his finger.
JACK
Oh right.
Jack puts the wolfbane down and reaches for the ring. Jack
takes the ring off and smiles.
JACK (cont’d)
This will go for a pretty penny in
the market now won’t it?
DANIEL
Yes it will.
Jack smiles.
JACK
Yes. We got it!
Suddenly a hand grabs onto Jack. Jack yells and drops the
ring. Daniel jumps back in shock and drops the lantern. The
lantern shatters causing the wolfbane to catch on fire.
DANIEL
My God!
Daniel turns around and runs to the door.
JACK
NO DANIEL! HELP ME! DON’T LEAVE ME!
Daniel runs out the door.
JACK (cont’d)
DANIEL! NO!
Jack turns to the coffin and we see Lawrence’s grip on Jack
tighten. Suddenly we see Lawrence’s hand start to grow hair.

Jack’s eyes widen. Lawrence’s other hand grabs onto the
other side of the coffin, this hand too starts to grow hair.
We see Lawrence lift himself from the coffin as his clothes
tear and hair starts to grow around his body. Jack screams
and we hear the werewolf roar.
3 EXT. GRAVEYARD- MIDNIGHT
Suddenly we see Jack’s dead body crash through the window.
Daniel turns around and sees the werewolf jump out the
window. Daniel’s eyes widen and he continues to run. The
werewolf runs after Daniel on all fours.
DANIEL
SOMEBODY HELP ME!
Jack is running towards the village. We see the village
lights up ahead. Daniel smiles.
DANIEL (cont’d)
Almost there. Almost there!
Daniel, panting, continues to run.
DANIEL (cont’d)
Almost.
Daniel looks behind him and the werewolf is gone. Daniel
smiles.
DANIEL (cont’d)
Thank god. He’s gone.
Daniel turns back around and screams. We see the werewolf
roaring, it’s mouth wide open, jump at Daniel.
INSTANT FADE OUT
FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE WOLFMAN
4 INT. GRAVEYARD- DAY
We FADE IN and see a group of investigators walking around
the graveyard. We stop in front of a horse carriage that
comes up to the grave yard. We see a cane touch the ground
and we recognize the cane as being Lawrence Talbot’s Silver
Wolf’s Head Cane. We pan up and we see that the holder of
the cane is the Scotland Yard Inspector Francis Abberline.
Abberline gets out of the carriage. Inspector Owen walks up
to Abberline.

INSPECTOR OWEN
Morning Sir.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE
Mmm.
Inspector Owen grimaces.
INSPECTOR OWEN
You look like hell.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE
Why thank you.
Inspector Abberline walks toward the Talbot Family tomb.
Inspector Owen follows him.
INSPECTOR OWEN
Did you have a long night sir?
Inspector Abberline stops in his tracks apparently annoyed.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE
Let’s keep it short and sweet. We
all have our own beasts to deal
with.
Inspector Abberline continues to walk and leaves Inspector
Owen behind.
INSPECTOR OWEN
I wonder what got into him?
Inspector Abberline is now in front of the Talbot Family
Tomb. Around the tomb we see several inspectors searching
around the tomb.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE
What happened?
The inspectors turn around. Inspector 1 turns to Abberline.
INSPECTOR 1
Two grave robbers searching in this
tomb were found dead. And both of
them, seem to have been bitten by
some wild animal and consequently
bleed to death.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE
Animal?
Abberline’s eyes widen and he charges into the tomb.

Lawrence’s eyes find a mirror. Lawrence stares into it and
sees himself. Bloody, damaged, and murderous.

Lawrence steps away from the mirror.
LAWRENCE TALBOT (cont’d)

Lawrence closes his eyes.
SIR JOHN (VOICEOVER)
But it is my dear pup.
LAWRENCE TALBOT
No.
SIR JOHN (VOICEOVER)
You’ve come back to reclaim my
kingdom.
LAWRENCE TALBOT
NO!
Lawrence opens his eyes again and stares at the mirror.

We see Lawrence Talbot arrive in London. It is raining
heavily still and we see people running around covering

13 EXT. CONLIFFE ANTIQUES SHOP
Lawrence rides his horse to the shop and gets off. Lawrence
ties the reins onto the light post. Lawrence walks to the
window and peers inside. Lawrence moves from the window and
walks to the front door. Lawrence twists the nob hard and we
hear the lock break. Lawrence looks behind him to see if
anyone had seen him. After confirming no one had seen him,
Lawrence opens the door and walks inside.
14 INT. CONLIFFE ANTIQUES SHOP
Lawrence looks around the shop. The shop seems to have been
long abandoned. We can see spiderwebs along the corners of
the walls and on the windows.
LAWRENCE TALBOT

creak at every step. Lawrence reaches Gwen’s room. Lawrence
opens the door.

The man turns around and stares at Lawrence.
MAN
Yes sir.
LAWRENCE TALBOT
I was just wondering if you know a
woman by the name of Gwen Conliffe?
MAN
Gwen Conliffe?
LAWRENCE TALBOT
Yes sir.
MAN
Yes I know a woman by that name.
But she is now Gwen Andrews.
Lawrence is suddenly struck by this news.
LAWRENCE TALBOT
Wait.... Gwen Conliffe.... Is
married?
MAN
Yes sir. She got married two years
ago.
LAWRENCE TALBOT
Two years?
We see Inspectors Abberline and Owen pass right by them. The

The door to the pub opens and Abberline enters and takes off
his hat.
BARTENDER
Evening Inspector.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE
Evening.
BARTENDER
Haven’t seen you around lately.
Namely after Lawrence Talbot was
falsely killed for being a
werewolf.
Abberline glares at the Bartender.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE
He was not falsely killed. He was a
threat that had to be dealt with.
BARTENDER
Yeah. Except for the fact that
after he died the killings didn’t
stop.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE
They did eventually stop didn’t
they?
The Bartender does not respond.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE (cont’d)
Yes. You could say that I tamed the
beast.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: (2) 12.
BARTENDER
And then you left.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE
There was no need for me to stay.
BARTENDER
Very well. But isn’t it peculiar
that when you come back to
Blackmoor, two people end up dead?
Inspector Abberline smiles.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE
What are you proposing Bartender?
That I am a werewolf?
BARTENDER
Yes. I suppose I am.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE
Well in that case....
Inspector Abberline raises up his cane. We see the silver
wolf’s head touch the Bartender’s neck. Inspector Abberline
continues to force the cane on his neck and raise it up.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE (cont’d)
You better watch your back. Because
when a werewolf comes for you I
might not save you.
The Bartender gulps.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE (cont’d)
Now make yourself useful and get me
a pint of bitter.
21 EXT. GALLOPING HORSE PUB
Lawrence Talbot is still talking to the man outside. We see
Inspector Owen standing nearby.

MAN
Are you trying to hurt her? Kill
her-
LAWRENCE TALBOT
No. I need her help.
MAN
Well then tell me. Who are you? I’m
not going to tell you anything
unless you-
LAWRENCE TALBOT
Ok, ok. I’ll tell you who I am.
Just, don’t do anything.
MAN
What do you mean?
Lawrence reaches up to his bandanna and lowers it. The man
moves back in shock.
MAN (cont’d)
Lawrence Talbot!
Lawrence quickly puts his hand over the man’s mouth.
Inspector Owen sees Lawrence Talbot. His eyes widen.
LAWRENCE TALBOT
Shhh! I told you not to do
anything.
MAN
You- You- You’re supposed to be
dead!
LAWRENCE TALBOT
I know. I need her help. Now tell
me where she lives.
Inspector Owen turns to The Galloping Horse Pub and runs
inside.
22 INT. GALLOPING HORSE PUB
The Bartender hands Abberline the pint of bitter.
(CONTINUED)

Inspector Owen runs into the pub.
INSPECTOR OWEN
Sir!
Abberline turns around.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE
What is it?
INSPECTOR OWEN
Talbot!
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE
What?
INSPECTOR OWEN
Lawrence Talbot is outside!
The Bartender drops the bottle of bitter that he was holding
and it shatters. The Bartender turns his head toward
Inspector Owen.
BARTENDER
What?
Abberline’s eyes widen and he throws the glass backwards
hitting the bartender in the face. The bartender falls back.
BARTENDER (cont’d)
Ah! Shit!
Abberline jumps out of his seat and runs to the door. The
bartender struggles to get up.
INSPECTOR OWEN
Sir!
Inspector Owen runs after Abberline.

Lawrence is putting the paper into his pocket when we see
Abberline charge out of the Galloping Horse Pub. Abberline
looks around and spots Lawrence.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE
TALBOT!
Lawrence turns around and sees Abberline running after him.
Lawrence quickly mounts his horse and the horse gallops off.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE (cont’d)
STOP TALBOT!
Abberline gets onto his horse. Inspector Owen gets out of
the pub.
INSPECTOR OWEN
Sir!
Abberline’s horse takes off.
INSPECTOR OWEN (cont’d)
Sir!
Abberline’s horse is running at top speed after Lawrence’s.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE
STOP TALBOT!
Abberline continues to follow Lawrence around the streets of
London.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE (cont’d)
STOP!
We are nearing the outskirts of town and are now approaching
the countryside.
16.
24 EXT. COUNTRYSIDE- NIGHT
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE
TALBOT! STOP OR I’LL OPEN FIRE ON
YOU!
Lawrence looks back at Abberline.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE
STOP TALBOT!
Abberline reaches for his gun.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE
I’LL GIVE YOU TO THE COUNT OF 3
TALBOT! ONE!
Abberline cocks his gun.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE (cont’d)
TWO!
Lawrence looks back at Abberline. Abberline raises his gun
at Lawrence.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE (cont’d)
THREE!
Abberline fires his gun at Lawrence. The bullet goes past
Lawrence’s face. Lawrence loses control of his horse for a
moment.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE (cont’d)
I’LL FIRE AGAIN TALBOT! STOP!
Lawrence regains control of the horse and continues on.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE (cont’d)
TALBOT!
Abberline fires again. The bullet passes by Lawrence’s horse
and hits the ground. The horse rises up in fear. Lawrence
reaches to his side and pulls out his gun. Abberline fires
again and misses. Lawrence turns around and points the gun
at Abberline. Abberline’s eyes widen.
INSPECTOR ABBERLINE (cont’d)
Talbot.
Lawrence fires at Abberline. The bullet flies and hits
Abberline’s arm. Abberline pulls back on the horse’s reins
because of the forceful impact the bullet made on him. The
horse tumbles to ground taking Abberline with him. Lawrence

rides off into the night leaving Abberline in the dust.
Abberline, after struggling to get up, gets back on his
feet. Abberline stares off at Lawrence. Abberline moves his
