K/1 STURT IN ACTION

In Literacy we have been learning to write narratives. We have painted pictures of fairy tale settings, created

characters and written about adventures.

These are the 3D shapes we made in

Numeracy.

Our new stand up writing table is very popular. We love being able learn at a standing work station.

In science we have been learning about

chemical changes. We learnt you can freeze

cordial into an ice block and it will melt again. It is a reversible change.

OPERATION ART RETURNS TO FRANKLIN Earlier this year two artworks, one by Max Johnson in K Cook and the other by Lizzy Pascoe in 3 Blaxland, were selected to be entered into Operation Art. These works of art were framed and put on display in a Sydney gallery. Max and Lizzy should be proud of their achievements. Max’s picture was titled ‘My Family’ and Lizzy’s painting was ‘River Journey.’ Both pictures will now be displayed in the Miles Franklin Hall.
