landscape of limestone rock “towers”

that extend nearly 900 feet into the air.

Day 5: Monday, October 7, 2019 Kalambaka - Delphi - Arachova This

Santorini came to be after a massive volcanic eruption that destroyed the earliest

settlements on what was originally a single island located in the southern Aegean

Sea. The history of the island can be seen at the Minoan site of Akrotiri and in

the traditional hilltop village of Oia. Santorini is also known for their modernistic

wineries, breweries, Cyclades dining, accomplished artists, and multicolored

beaches.

Due to the nature of this itinerary, both 3- and 4-star hotels that may be located in the vicinityof historic centers will be utilized.

Hotel accommodations while in Nafplio will be confirmed 60 days prior to departure at either Nafplia Palace Hotel & Villas or Amphitryon Hotel.

Many activities in this itinerary include walking on uneven terrain, or require significant walking at times. Some of the unique experiences, such as visiting historical areas, mean accessing locations by foot because motorcoaches are restricted.
